Human resource management is the tactic of managing
manpower of company effectively so that they are
optimally utilized for organizational growth. HR manager
of a company is responsible to hire skilled employees,
manage the employees well in the organization, maintain
organizational culture and many others. Home Bargains is a
private retailing company which was founded in 1976 by
Tom Morris. It is headquartered in Liverpool, UK. the
following PPT covers impact of Human Resource in

management
• The diverse human resource brings diversified ideas to the home
bargain that helps in effective management of the operations of
the company thereby bringing positive impact on the business
operations.
• The talented workforce or the HR assist the business of the
Home Bargain in developing the effective strategy for the
operational management and overall management of the
organisation.
• The human resource also helps the business in day to day
operations and also help in managing the activities of the

• Human resource face many challenges in the Home Bargain
some of them are enlisted below:
• The diversity of human resource is the biggest challenge
among the all the challenges as due to the change of
perspectives, ideas, culture, language and difference in
opinions.
• The human also face the challenge of the human retention as
for the company it very important to retain the best talent
for the company to gain profitability.

How business could not operate without
HR
►Without HR in an organisation there will be no
appropriate management and allotment of the work also
the employees will not be able to understand what work
they have to do in their organization.
► In context of Home Bargains, in case they are having
no HR manager then their employees are not able to
clarify their doubts and resole their queries. Overall
business will suffer management issues of manpower.
►HR department of a company is also responsible to
measure the performance of employees. Hence, without
effective HR in Home Bargains will not analyse the actual
performance for their employees and they will not able to
decide the criteria for employee development.

Reflection
I have made the above presentation which is covering all important aspect of HR and how these HR
services help a company to maintain their brand image in market by increasing their performance and
productivity. I have learned that today most of the companies are having effective HR policies which
help them to manage their employees and other resources well to achieve organizational goal.
