The student must develop varied skills and knowledge so that they grow in their career. It is
done by accessing data and info from different sources. The report will describe about way to
find info, CRAAP test and support services provided by Leeds University. Also, it will be
explained about Brilliant tab on library page (Khan, and et.al., 2017).
How do you find information and evaluate its sources
It is necessary to evaluate sources from which info is obtained or taken from. This is
because it enables in giving proof and reliability that info taken is reliable and authentic. Besides
that, there are various ways to find out info. This depends on student needs. However, before
gathering info it is necessary to evaluate its source so that more info is obtained from it.
Basically, online source is mostly used by students in accessing info. This is because there are
vast number of website available on internet by which lot of info is taken. Alongside, in taking
online info there is need to evaluate various search engines so that its source can be included
within study. Furthermore, it enable in keeping record of search engine and all materials from
where info has been gathered. In addition keeping record of search engine is helpful in future as
more info can be obtained from it (Yerizon, Putra, and Subhan, 2018). There is also need to
narrow down topic from so that it becomes simple to select topic and then collect specific info
related to it.

are fake. Thus, for that a tool is used. CRAAP is an effective tool which is used to check whether
data is authentic or not. It means currency, relevancy, authority, accuracy and purpose. Thus, a
student can easily use this tool to check their info collected from article, journals, etc. The tool is
defined as below :
Currency- This factor is linked with identifying that information gathered from the user is not
outdated. It should be current including facts.
Relevance - It helps in identifying relevancy of data for the users. It is beneficial to access data
on a single topic in order to maximise knowledge and creativity.
Authority- It helps in analysing authencity of the data so that correct information can be
communicated to the users. The information should be written by those people who are
competent in their working.

from it. In this it contains info about various subject and topics. From hub it is easier for student
to access info and register themselves (Klimova, 2019).
Counselling mentors – here, mentors are provided by University for student. The mentor guide
them to learn on different subjects. Moreover, mentor also help them to choose their career field.
They also motivate them to put more efforts in learning.
