INTRODUCTION
Integrity at academic level can be defined as students, researchers, teachers and all the
representative of the community act at academic level with honesty, trust, fairness, respect and
responsibility as well. It also allows students and staff the freedom to build knowledge, new
ideas and creative works while acknowledging and respecting the work of others(Morris., 2016).
The present report will cover discussion about role of personal development planning and also
about aims and objectives for the professional development. The report also consist of how
author, purpose, reliability and relevance affect the use of a source. Moreover, the report will
cover discussion about sources evaluation which have been utilised in the planning of report.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Explain the concept of professional and personal development plan
Plan of personal development : It is basically about the action plan which can be used
in order to identify the individual goals and also about what an individual wants to achieve into
positive manner. Under this plan, the actions has been taken in order to develop and meet the
goals into appropriate manner and also about the steps which needs to be taken to achieve the
goal.
Plan of professional development: The plan of professional development basically
documents the required skill, goals and development of competency and also about the
objectives which a staff member will need to achieve for supporting the continuous career
development.
Short term goals value along with three examples
Goals of short term nature is very important for reaching towards the goals of long term
nature of the life and also help in terms of finding out how far the individual has come and in
which manner the individual has to travel to reach towards the ultimate destination(Alajami.,
2021). There are three short term goals which can be set into positive manner which includes
establishing a morning routine, developing one positive habit into a particular month and writing
two pages in journal every morning.

Medium-term goals value with at least three examples at personal level
When medium term goals have been set then it takes time to make a proper progression
and also short in terms of nature that individual can't be different person when individual has
achieved the goal.(Eaton., 2022). There are three examples of medium term goals which include
learning a new skill, changing the career path and starting the own business.
Long term goals value with at least three examples at personal level
Goals of long term nature are important for self-improvement and help in giving
something to strive for and also support in terms of focusing on where the individual wants to be.
These goals support in terms of shaping the direction of careers and their own lives. There are
three examples of long term goals which include committing towards the fitness routine, learning
a forien language and earning a college degree.
Discuss and explain personal development plan value and create an example with support of
goals which are identified
Development plan at personal level is basically about creation of plan of action which is
based on awareness, values, goal-setting, planning and reflection for development at personal
level which is into context of education, self-improvement or career. It is very significant to
understand the value of development plan at personal level which can be used in terms of
motivating throughout the apprenticeship or higher education and also used well into the
working life as well. For example, for becoming a successful Manager in a reputed
organisation(Whitley Jr and Keith-Spiegel, 2001). So for this purpose it is important to earn a
management degree and then do a internship in a proper organisation and after that prepare the
CV accordingly for that particular post and give interviews with positive approach towards that
goal.
TASK 2
Discuss and describe how reliability, author, relevance and purpose affect the use of a source
These factors affect the use of a source in such a manner that it gives knowledge and
practical experience to a user regarding the particular topic. It gives point of views and also gives
ability to develop new ideas for further development and growth of an individual.
