Introduction
In the other words, the personal development plan is also called as PDP which is the
tool helping the students and children in the development of their personal and professional
skills in the most efficient manner. For the individual it is a continuous process which helps
in assessing the skills and abilities for realizing the potential for achieving goals. It is a
process of learning where the development of skills in the individual is essential and
important as skills can be applied in every field. The development helps in improving the
individual efficiency and accuracy in regards to the skills and knowledge which leads to
develop within the professional world (Brigandi and et, al., 2019). The person learns new
skills and gain knowledge which leads to success and improves the mental along with social
skills. In the report the topics are covered regarding to the conception of personal and
professional development. Moreover, the value of short-term, medium-term, and long-term
goals are identified with examples. Further, the personal development plan is explained in the
report.
Defining concept of personal and professional development
The working of both the term is together which leads to growth of the individual in
the required field. The personal growth and development are the transformation process
which improves the financial, mental emotional and social state. The personal development
plan defines procedure of improvement in learning skills and acquiring required knowledge
(Scott and et, al., 2017). It is a part of human growth which allows people in setting the goals,
development of qualities and learning of new skills. It is a field of knowledge and skills
which involves communication skills, body language, and confidence. The professional
development is the procedure where the capabilities of the individual is improved and
increases by offering the opportunity of education and training within and outside the
organization to facilitate the better performance (Costley and et, al., 2020). The individual
morale is boosted leading t6o high quality work. In the professionalism the numerous tasks
and organizational skills are improved in the best manner have the efficiency. The learning
helps in achieving the desired goals and meeting challenges in the effective way which leads
in shaping the career and develop skill of person. In the professional development the
necessary skills are enhanced to carry out the individual role in the effective way. The
effective personal and professional development ensures the knowledge of person by
involving both hard and soft skills. The PDP can be taken in several ways such as Coaching,

3. Salary increment- After working long in the company the person expects of the
