Introduction:
Academic integrity can be defined as the important component of the education because
it is the key block from which our professional ethics and integrity can be derived from.
The job of students basically is to seek knowledge from everywhere and use it in the real
world with full honesty and integrity, as it is said, a culture with honesty earns the
maximum respect in the society and this is for what all the universities try to introduce
academic integrity (Dixit, and Prabhu, 2022). It is also the expectations of all the
academic members including teachers, researchers and the students to act and do their
works with full honesty, fairness, respect, trust and responsibility.

An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity can be defined as the original set of values which applies to
everything that one will do. It is basically a university's goal to be a platform where
there can be an exchange of ideas, skill enhancement and help to develop new
knowledge including the values into practices in the work one do at the university
platform. The International Center for Academic Integrity has given five pillars that
define academic integrity to develop positive talks about integrity.
 HONESTY: It is a necessary basis of integrity and is required for full
realization of responsibility and trust. As students gains knowledge from
outside and from the institutions itself, at the end they must be honest with
themselves and with each other’s.
 TRUST: The power to rely on what the other person is saying and can mold
decisions accordingly especially in the academic community. People of the
institutions including both students and teachers both should trust the work. It
however also eases the working relationships and then the structures and the
policies will also be treated very fairly (El-Aswar and et. Al., 2022).
 FAIRNESS: Members of the faculty which are teachers should be fair to the
students and students should be fair to the faculty members by
communicating clearly, upholding the academic integrity fairly.
 RESPECT: Respect from an individual's point of view can be that his opinions
and ideas should be shared among others. In context with the students, it can

be done by completing the work given by instructors and listening to their
point of views and listening to the concerns of students will be their respect.
 RESPONSIBILITY: Everyone is accountable for their actions in their works.
Performing their works with integrity and make others also to do work with
integrity is a positive influence and hence is academic integrity (Zengaro, and
et. Al., 2022).
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
Academic integrity is very important in higher education as it improves the
capabilities of the students and help them to achieve what they want. For the
university however, it is important because the dishonorable behavior sabotage the
learning and the credibility of all the universities in the society. Initiatives have been
taken into consideration to promote academic integrity like research and training for
instructors and the learners, restructuring the assignments to decrease academic
dishonesty.
Any person who knows the importance and maintains that importance of academic
integrity can easily catch his career success (Keith, and Faroon, 2022). As a part of
the student learning, they will have to complete and learn many assignments and
those are particularly designed to understand the subject more clearly. It is however
important in the eyes of students as they give their best in the task and in the
university to increase their chances of their career success by doing the work with
honest attitude. However, from the point of university it is helpful as to increase the
respect in the society by providing a good and healthy environment for the studies of
the students.
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct can be defined as from the simple word cheating in which
helping other to gain in the field of academics and attempt to gain for yourself in
assignments or any activity in which the factors of integrity doesn't get followed is
academic misconduct. Some of the misconducts are been discussed below:

 PLAGIARISM: When someone presents the work and ideas of the other
person by taking all the credits and without taking the creator's permission can
be defined as plagiarism and is the most common academic misconduct in
the higher education.
 COLLUSION: This is a form of plagiarism itself and can be defined as the
unattributed and unofficial attempt in the assignment or any assessed work.
 FALSIFICATION: It is an attempt to represent a distorted data, citations,
references and many more that are not accurate or real and also without
consent.
 CHEATING: Cheating can be defined as any attempt to take or to give help to
others at the time of examination or an assessment because of lack of
knowledge at the time (Michaud, and Audebrand, 2022). Copying from
someone else's work and submitting it by not even giving credit also includes
in cheating.
 DECEIT: To have advantage from someone or to take advantage with
dishonesty just for the good of yourself can be defined as deceit.
Resubmitting the already submitted work of someone else will be included in
deceit.
 PERSONATION: It can be defined as the premise to identify another person
with purpose to lead on or gain unfair advantage. It can also be defined as the
assumption identity of any other person with the intention to gain a good
amount of advantage by taking the credits for the assignment.
 SELF PLAGIARISM: Submitting the same piece of work which one has
already submitted without telling the instructor of the institute is termed as
self- plagiarism. However, no one is allowed to take credits twice for the work
which has already been submitted like the work a student have already
submitted in the last semester.
 BUYING TEST PAPERS AND ASSIGNMNENTS: This is a very common
factor that neglect the criteria of academic integrity. Students often buy
already written assignments or give money to write them by other people and
then submit them in the university not giving any credits to them will come in
the category of buying the assignments (Qiang, and et. Al., 2022). For the
papers however, students often buy their term papers and then pretend to

score well but instead they are lacking all the knowledge they could get from
the university and hence not following the principles of academic integrity.

The difficulties which have been encouraged while developing the game are:
This game is basically about the students to help them with their skills in the filed of
study and also to help the to gain the knowledge. In addition to this it also keeps an
eye on the plagiarism on the field of academics and any kind of misconduct in the
academics. The main objective of the game can be defined as the game which helps
to understand the value of the academic integrity and also helps in avoiding the
plagiarism the assignments and any other misconducts in the academics.
Major difficulties challenged in developing the games are as follows:
 Too many ideas spoil the game: it is said that having too many ideas for
developing nay game an be dangerous which can undermine the end user
experience and also helps make in instant increase in the cost of the
development of the games.
 Knowing the audience: It is very much important understand the audience to
which the game is being used by. Like in this game, the targeted audience is
the students (SPIRIT, 2022). To predict the academic integrity and also help
in gaining knowledge and also in addition to this, to also stop the academic
misconduct that happens in the schoolings.
 Getting your name noticed: It has been discovered that the app discovery is
termed to be a very huge pain in developing any kind of game. But placing
your developed game in a place where it gets actually gets noticed by the
audience and targets the audience at the same time and earns as well.
However, it is said that a successful game is much better than god games.

Reflect on the skills which have been taught in this academic year
and those emphasized in producing the game.
The skills which have helped in emphasizing the game are as follows:
Academic skills:
Academic skills can be defined as the ability, the strategies and the habits which
helps all its learners to get succeed in any academic field setting. The academic
skills generally build on the students and help them to be masters of literacy and
some technical subjects which includes the subject of mathematics and science. In
other words, the academic skills which can also be called the study skills or the
strategies which help in approaching any individual towards the path of learning
(Squires, and et. Al., 2022). This sets of skills helps in array or tackle the processor
taking new informative information’s and get them organized and then help them in
dealing with the assignments. Academic skills are important as they help in
increasing an individual’s productivity and also the success and the growth in the
schools.
time management skills: time management skills refer to the skills which help
an individual to use the time they have in a very effective way to achieve the desired
results. Managing time in a student’s life is very important as it helps them to make
time for other activities also and at the same time not compromising on their studies
as well. Some of the main time management skills includes the organization,
prioritsation, goal settings, communications, planning, delegation, stress
management and flexibility in the time schedule.
Importance of this skills is it basically increases one’s productivity of doing the task
and can get most out of it. In addition to this, it helps in releasing stress when one
manages its time properly.
writing skills: writing skills can be defined as the art to provide a logical structure
to any information out there so that it could be understandable and can make sense
at the same time to the readers. The ability of organizing the paragraphs and the
sentences in the most efficient way so that the information can get to and also how
the other people understand the point of that writing. Writing skills plays a very

important role in the academic year especially for the students as it equips the
communication and the exchange of thoughts between two people (Wallig, and
Janovitz, 2022). It basically helps in expressing who the person really is. In addition
to this, writing also makes our thinking and the learning more visible and permanent.
creativity skills:
creative skills can be defined as the ability of an individual to think about a particular
task or a problem in general and can find different new ways to overcome them.in
other words, it is also the ability of any individual to use his imagination efficiently in
order to create new ideas. This skill set basically helps you to solve all the complex
problems and helps to find an individual to find many interesting ways to accomplish
the tasks. Creative skills are important for students in the academic year as it
enables them to solve the problem and create new ideas which can be very helpful
in the outside world and it also enhanced the personality of the students (Wang and
et. Al., 2022).
Conclusion:
In this report however, it has been concluded that Academic integrity can be defined
