BMP3003 Further Academic Skills
The academic integrity is important in the higher education for the
students and staff as it allow the freedom of constructing new ideas,
knowledge and creative work with respect and acknowledging the
working of others. The integrity benefits in learning new things and new
work is developed instead of tasking other work as own. From the
perspective of future, it is important in developing the ethics and values
in the person that provides the career opportunity. The skill and
knowledge develops the academic life of person in finding employment
opportunity and ethics is followed in the workplace. In higher education
the academic integrity is important in learning, teaching and research at
university.
The teachers and students faces the problem of plagiarism while writing the
content which creates penalties or termination from universities as faced by the
students.
First, in starting the game the person is required to download this game in their
respective computers. After downloading, on opening of game it will show
various tools and features and the option activity will be shown.
Secondly, the team will be made of 4-5 students where they will start writing of
content in the word file of approx. 100 to 500 words to detect the plagiarism.
This game will be played between the teachers and students where the teacher
will provide the small activity of writing short content without plagiarism.
In the game there will be feature of fun and write and involves the tool called
‘Red Alert’ for detecting the plagiarism in the student content. The plagiarism in
content will detected and words will be highlighted with red colour.
The other tool in the game is ‘grammatical magic’ which will help in detecting
the grammatical errors in the content of the student. This tool will help in
improving the writing skill of the student which is beneficial for future time
period.
In the last, the winner team will be declared who will have the minimum
plagiarism detection in their content writing and will be appreciated by the
teacher.
