• Academic integrity is about putting the values into practice in an honest way
to the academic work done at the University. It includes following fair
practices and taking responsibilities for learning (MacLeod and Eaton, 2020).
• It is important for the students to follow the rules and laws while studying.
• It prevents from students having any poor outcomes such as failing in a
subject and provides more ethical way.
• It allows the students to have the best chance of achieving the success being
done with the help of assessment tasks and following an honest attitude. It
helps in avoiding bad consequences (Guerrero-Dib, Portales and Heredia-
Escorza, 2020).
• The ways followed by the students and the staff members within the
university will affect the views which others have about the university.
• It is important for the university to be consistent and more trustworthy in the
standards regarding different courses and assessments.
• This way the community will have a confidence in its people who graduate
with degrees.
• The students will feel proud graduating from such high standards and having
the knowledge which is based on the foundation of truth and respect.
• It also defines a path for building new knowledge (Gottardello and Karabag,
2020).
• It also provides proper credit to the people offering their ideas and research
into work as well as acknowledge them.
• The things which students learn in the University, they will apply the same in
their personal and professional life.
• It sets a particular framework for the students which they can follow in their
studies.
This game starts with forming 4 team having 4 players
each. In the first round of the game, one member of each
team will come froward and spin the wheel having
sections of different colours having different points.
These same coloured cards are placed on the table in a
set of 4 for each colour. These colours are red, blue,
green, orange.
The player has to pick one of the 4 cards of the colour from
the spin the wheel part. Behind each card there is a question
which the player is supposed to answer. If the given answer
is correct, they will earn the points for that respective colour.
However, if the player gives a wrong answer, then they will
be subjected to negative marks and the correct answer will
be provided for the audience.
For example, if the pointer stops at orange colour having the marks of 100. The
player picks second card in the pink colour list, then they will answer the question
written behind this and no other question apart from that. There are no repeated
question in any of the cards. These questions can be MCQs as well as definition
questions. There is also time limit set to answer the question. These questions
written on the back of the cards are from the topic of academic integrity,
plagiarism and related skills. The team which will score the maximum points at the
end of the game will be considered as the winners. The points for red are 200,
green is 50, blue is 300 and orange is 100.
