Introduction
There is high need to focus on the motivation which allows to work effectively
and work constantly. To work effectively there is need for the motivation which can
help employee to work effectively within their organization. There are various factors
which influence employee to work. There is also positive and negative factor which
is experienced by employee within their organization. This can impact the working
performance. There are various negative factor which needs to cope with to work
effectively. In this report, there is discussion about different positive and negative
factor along with strategies to overcome from the negative factors (Blynova and et.
al., 2020).
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation refers to the process which guides, initiates and helps to maintain
goal oriented behavior. This is the one through which individual get their energy and
cause to work effectively which allows to work with their better impact.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs allows to focus on the motivation which is
comprises of models of human needs. This includes different steps like physiological
needs which is a basic need, safety need for the self and family, love and belonging
needs for get social with others, esteem needs to get motivated and to feel valuable
and self-actualization needs.
Intrinsic motivation refers to act to do something which is not to get extra paid
instead of this, employee work because they like to do this or enjoy their work.
There is no any external factor which can influence employee to work for their
organization rather than working hour or minimum criteria. When there is not
pressure of incentive then this condition is known by Intrinsic motivation. This does
not includes any external factors to work (Carvache-Franco and et. Al, 2020).
Extrinsic motivation is the behavior where employee work due to external
motivational factor like incentives or reward or avoidance of negative outcomes
which lead to create motivation within employee. When there is extra paid for the
work which can either be in form of monitory or non-monitory that can lead to create
motivation within employee which is to get that reward for them. Then this type of
motivation is known by Extrinsic motivation.

Salary: This is one of the main factor which have high impact on the
motivation. Every employee works to earn money, when there is no sufficient salary
of employee and work is difficult then in such case employee either like get increase
in their salary or to get low motivation to work which can impact their work
performance. So, satisfactory salary is important to work effectively and allows for
the motivation within employees (Uchino, T., Tanaka, K. and Mizuno, M., 2021).
Promotion: Promotion is a motivational factor which motivate employees to
work effectively and give their best to the organizational work. This is regarding
extrinsic factor which emphasis employees to work effectively to get higher post.
Instead of increase salary some people like to get promotion which is regarding to
enhance their post within organization which also lead to increase in their salary
automatically due to higher post. This crates motivation to get valuable within
organization which can be there due to getting higher post and this leads to work as
motivation within many employees.
Work Environment: Work environment has their own importance in the
organization. This is one of the cause of motivation within employees to work
effectively. With good work environment employee enjoy their working and positive
environment make them satisfy with their work and also helps to interact with others
employees and allows them to boost their energy and work efficiently (Pomrenze,
M.B. and Marinelli, M., 2021).

There are many positive factors which employee experience as a result of their job
roles which are like interacting with other people, challenging work, team work,
development opportunities, cheerfulness.
Challenging work- There are many of the work which is challenging for the
employee that is due to learning about that new work. There are many new work which is
new to the employee which is challenging for the employee to work effectively. In
organization there are many work which needs to do, when there is some new task which is
challenging for the employees to perform in effective way.
Team work- This is the positive factor which is there in the organization and people
learn about to work with other employee to perform any task which allows them the

opportunity to get interact with other worker. This also help them to learn many new
things. Employees get many experience through the team work which is regarding working
together to perform any task. This allows to focus on the delivery of better and effective
work results (Chon, M.G. and Kim, Y., 2021).
Development opportunities- This is the opportunity which enable employees to
develop their working performance and allows to work in new area. It also provides the
opportunity to work in area of their development due to facing new challenges during their
work. This helps in employees personal development. Working in any organization allows to
improve their skills in many ways. This allows to learn many things within organization that
allows to better work performance. It improve the talent within organization.
The negative factors employees experience as a result of
their job roles
There are many negative factors which impact employees experience as a result of
their job roles. There are some of the factors includes bad management, gossips,
workplace conflict and others .
Bad management- This is one of the factor which has been experienced by
the employees within their job roles. When there is bad management like not
performing of managerial work or delay in managerial work can lead to impact the
working of their employees. This also impact the working performance of
employees. Bad management also restrict to work effectively within organization.
Bad management creates problem in the smooth procedure of organizational work.
Gossips- This is the factor which has their impact the employees experience
during work. Gossips creates distract form the work and impact the working of the
employees. It also creates problem within organization. Gossips is the reason which
can lead to unnecessary politics within organization and leads to create negative
impact on organizational employee mind-set. This impact the working environment
and impact the working performance of employees.
Workplace conflict- This is the factor which impact the employee experience
that can lead to create the impact on work performance. Due to conflict employee
get engaged in unnecessary things which is not good for the organization or the
employees. Workplace conflict can lead to create negative work environment that

can impact the mental status of employee which impact their work performance

Strategies to cope with negative factors employees
experience as a result of their job roles
There are many strategies which can help to cope with negative factors which
employees experience when they work or play their job role within organization.
There is are some strategy which can help to cope with negative factor which are
going to be discussed further.
To deal with the bad management there is need to focus on the work
performance and need to clear work with better effect. This can allows to not get in
any negative situation when there is blame on the employees. In this, there is need
to deal with such situation effectively. When there is impact on the working due to
bad management then there should be written request to the concerned higher
authority. This can help to resolve the problem and other problems.
To cope with gossips, there is need to focus on the own work. This can
allows to clear focus on working rather than gossips. There is also need to get clear
about gossips when there is any related with self. This can be effective and allows to
save the time which can be wasted on it. There is need to focus on the own work
rather than gossip which can help to keep self distance from any unnecessary
gossips. To get confirmation from the related person can also allow to end the
gossip and help to focus on the work instead of getting busy in unnecessary work.
Avoiding and talk with the person can help to cope with the workplace conflict
which is regarding any thing at workplace. Avoidance of the conflict can be very
helpful to cope with workplace conflict which is effective. When there is high chance
of conflict then in such situation, there is need to talk with the other person. This can
help to resolve the problem and there is higher chance to avoid or resolve the
workplace conflict. Talking with other person can be very helpful to deal with the
situation of workplace conflict (Wang, Cheng, K.S. and Chan, R.C., 2020).

From above discussion, it can be conclude that it is essential to
focus on the employee motivation. This can allows to deliver better and
