Introduction
People work to provide basic necessities such as nutrition, wear and housing
for themselves and for their family members. When these basic requirements are
fulfilled, extra necessities and needs emerge to make life more comfortable. There
are a variety of motivating factors that encourage people to work hard and efficiently
complete their tasks and duties (Soroui, 2021). Different positive and negative
aspects that affect their performance and profitability are discussed in this report.
Business organization use a variety of tactics and plans in order to eliminate all
negative elements that affect the productivity of the employee and also its
performance. Apart from this, this report also focusses on variety of theories.
2.0 The various factors which motivate employees to
work
Discuss on the concept of motivation
Motivation is categorized and relies on the physical and rational forces that
guide and stimulate the behavior of individuals and groups of individuals in order to
attain their goal in a productive way. There are different types of motivations, such as
intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, that motivate the peoples achieve all their defined
goals and objectives in proper manner (Soroui, 2021). The management have to
apply the different types of motivational theories within their business organization in
order to motivate their employees. The Maslow's hierarchal need theory has been
discussed below: -
The Maslow's hierarchy need theory, allows the management of the
organizations to study and understand individual needs that arise in a defined and
hierarchical way. After the basic needs are fulfilled, the progressive needs of the
people are investigated.
Basic needs: There are various basic needs for life such as food, water,
shelter, etc. which are need to be fulfilled. The basic needs of a worker are
met by receiving compensation according to the work which is done by them.
Security Needs: every Individual must carry their lives safely and be
protected from any damage. The company supports the employees with

protection strategies and offers a variety of insurance policies to them that
reassure him.
Love and belongingness need: - Each individual needs to work in a well-
connected and compelling way. Compared to this perfect one, success in an
organization that gives each individual an acceptable job and motivates them
to perform all functions effectively and efficiently. Communication is very
important within the organization.
Esteem Need: - According to this, their no exaggeration to say that workers
or employees need respect in their organizations (Permana and et. al., 2019).
Companies need to give every employee the equal rights and respect to help
meet their gratitude needs.
Self-actualization Need: - this is the highest priority need for Maslow's
hierarchical need. Self-actualization means receiving everything a person
needs to achieve in its life.
Factors that motivate people to work
There are a variety of factors that encourage employees to work well in a
company from which some of the discussed below: -
Salary: - It is a fact that, every individual who works within the organization
does so for earning money. It is being observed that remuneration is one of
the factors that motivates individuals to work for a particular company.
Employees are motivated by different types of variables to work in a defined
manner and achieve higher work performance. Bonuses also serve to
increase employee productivity to work.
Workplace: - The organization's working environment not only motivates
people but also increase their retention within the firm. It has been observed
that if reasonable workspace is provided by the management to their
employees, then they work with full productivity (Tang, 2021). The better the
working environment, the easier it will be for the workers to work.
Promotion: - an important role is played by growth and promotion in
motivating people which improved their productivity. If an organization
provides promotions to their employees for their efficient efforts, then people
work with more productivity and effectiveness. The promotion and career

development opportunities help them to work hard and attain all their goals
and objectives. The management of the company supports the worker more
who have been working in the association for a longer period of time.
3.0 The positive factors employees experience as a result
of their job roles
There are several factors that make it easier to improve an employee's positive work
experience from within a defined job role. Following are some of the positive factors
which are described below: -
Effective Connections with Other Employees: by building and maintain
good connections with the times and develops an effective working
environment within the organization, encourages everyone working in the
same organization in a positive and efficient way (Hannon, 2021). People who
have good connections with the other employees will find that they do the task
more properly. On the other hand, the performance of workers within the
organization are also improved.
Financial stability of the organization: The financial situation of the
company affects the working and productivity of the representative. The
employees are motivated and have a positive view towards the firm only when
the situation of the organization is positive and stable and regularly provides
different types of financial benefits to them. Financial contributions help an
individual to stay always positive about their work.
Learning and advancement: by giving great development opportunities to
workers and appropriate training to them assist them in developing their skills
and improve their insights(Pe-Than and Herbsleb, 2019). This is very
beneficial to the company and also helps them achieve their career goals in
proper manner. This helps in inspiring the worker so that they function
positively.

4.0 The negative factors employees experience as a result
of their job roles
Organizations have a variety of negative factors that directly affect the
performance levels of the workers and their ability to perform their specific jobs.
Some of the negative factors are described below: -
Discrimination: this the most effective factor in enhancing a negative
experience of an employee's job. This negatively impacts on the employee
performance if the organization treats employees unequally and discriminates
on the basis of color, age and nationality (Day, Barber and Tonet, 2019).
Employees cannot work properly in a discriminatory environment that also
affects the overall performance of the organization.
Ineffective management: - Without proper management, an organization is
unable to maintained with respect to job responsibilities and assignments of
the authority. this does not provide worth to worker and impact on their
performance. Improper management also affects the functionality and
performance of the organization.
Providing access work: The organization provides access work to their
employees who impose a burden that undermines the experience of the
employee's entire organization and affect their ability to perform their duties. If
the organizations, on the other hand, do not appreciate the innovative ideas of
their employees, then this demotivates them and keep them from engaging in
unproductive organizational activities (Babalola and et. al., 2022). All of these
factors enhance an employee's negative work experience and their particular
job in the organization.
Strategies to cope with negative factors of employee experience
The management of the organization determines and analyzes all optimistic
and adverse elements that affect the workers experience towards the organization
and occupation. There are numerous operative strategies which are developed by
the organization to effectively address all adverse factors. These strategies help the
organization in motivate, inspire, and retain employees over the long term by
identifying their difficulties and offering the right solutions. Some strategies are
discussed below: -

Workers are treated fairly and recognize their value by incorporating their
thoughts in the decision function of the organization. In this way, they feel the
importance in the organization and motivate them to work efficiently.
Employees are provided with the right development opportunities, rewards,
and training to properly improve their job performance and contribution to the
organization's goals (Askel and et. al., 2020).
Appropriate and appropriate work is assigned to employees. When providing
additional work, the organization must provide employees with additional
payments. Proper management is implemented in an organization that
enables employees to efficiently achieve all goals.
An effective working environment and culture is maintained by the
management of the company that enhances employees' positive experience
with the organization.
7.0 Conclusion
From the above report, it is concluded that it is very significant for the people
to work properly in order to meet all their requirements. Motivation is being
considered as the most important factor in helping employees improve their work
performance, productivity and profitability. There are both positive and negative
factors that affect employees. The organization considers all these factors and
eliminates all adverse effects which assist in improving and bringing the positiveness
within the organization's work environment. This motivates employees and develops
effective strategies to keep the organization long-term.
