Business management is focused on organizing, planning as well as analyse
business activities in an effective manner. In order to operate these actives it is crucial to
have business management within an organization. The overall aim of this presentation is
to effectively understand the requirements of academic as well as professional skills. In
addition to this, it will help in understanding the importance of both personal and
profession development as well as growth. The following presentation will highlight the
various challenges a business management student has to encounter along with various
skills that are necessary to maintain high level of productivity. Moreover, it will consist of
a action plan in order to develop skills that will help students in persona and professional
development.

There are several challenges that a student of business management study has to
encounter due to its complex nature. It is crucial for the student to overcome these
challenges in a structured manner in order to attain personal and professional growth.
Given below are various challenges that business:
Academic writing:
In academic writing the students are encounter with various issues that are
bases on the increase in the overall assignments which have to be completed in a set
period of time. This makes it challenging for the students as they needs to ensure that
their work is free from plagiarism and correct use of grammar present. In addition to
this, they face issues related to argument with supportive evidence and lack formal
academic language.

The importance of effective academic skills development
It is crucial for the student of business management to have vital set of
skills that will help them develop in both personal and professional aspect and
provide them the ability to think critically and solve problems. Dome of these

It is crucial for the student to have effective problem solving skills as it
will allow them to develop new innovate as well as creative solution related to

my overall performance.

 I can focus on improving my interpersonal skills which will enhance my
communication skills.
 I can focus on handling stress better by putting my self in stressful
situations in order to improve my productivity.

procrastination and improve performance.
 High level of competition is a threat which makes it vital for me to
unsure that I have necessary skills in order to gain an advantage.
 The increasing amount of stress is impacting the balance relative to my
personal and academic tasks

unproductive.

Detailed example of the actions that would be
taken to develop skills identified as weakness
in SWOT analysis
In order to overcome my weakness of time management I will develop a systematic as
well as a structured action plan. The plan will be segmented into short-term, medium-
term and long-term. The action plan is elaborated below:
Short-term:
In order to develop time management skills it is crucial for me to begin with
the basics task and develop time management skills in a slow manner and learn how to
prioritize task in an effective manner. This will help me to identify task which need to
be competed and help me improve my productivity as well as performance. It will also
help me to eliminate the aspect of distraction and commit to given task.

Summary
From the presentation it can has been concluded that, it is crucial for the students of business
management to gain valuable skills in order to overcome complex task that will help them in
their personal and professional development. In addition to this, the students need to develop
various skills and understand what challenges that can overcome through he implementation of
their current skills. Moreover, the presentation was effective in concluding that, skills such as
communication, leadership along with time management are interrelated can can help gain
students an advantage. Furthermore, the presentation consists SWOT analysis which helps in
identifying the current skills of an individuals as well as their weaknesses which they need to
eliminate through the strengths and opportunities. In addition to this, it highlighted current and
future threat allowing student to take necessary steps in order to negate them. The presentation
also involves a action plan which vital for a student in order to overcome challenges in a
systematic and structured manner.
