A student has to face various challenges while studying business management and
thriving in professional practice. Few of the challenges are mentioned below-
• Adjusting to new surroundings –Various kind of students of business
management help to travel a long distance even they are required to stay far
away from their home to study specific management courses for their better
career. Hence it is difficult for a student and just quickly to a new surrounding
which is far away from their home.
• Nervousness to meet new people- It is essential for a business management
student as well as a business management professional to communicate
effectively with people. Even they are required to conduct meeting with those
people which are unknown to them. Here they need to show confidence and
positive attitude. But most of the people get nervous to communicate to new
people within their surroundings.

I am good at communicating skill which is one of the most
important skill for personal and professional development. I
communicate effectively with others and even most of the people
are impressed with my communication skill like the way I share my
point of view and ideas effectively with actual and true facts and
figures to justify the statement.
WEAKNESSES
I’m lacking behind to learn effective problem solving skill Which
is one of the most important skill for a business professional. I
am unable to recognize the issue properly and make appropriate
alternatives of solution to solve that problem. This is important
for me to learn this skill effectively to gain high in my personal
as well as professional life.
OPPORTUNITY
Taking online classes for online courses to develop weak skills
is one of the best opportunity for me to develop my
upcoming professional life. Secondly, it is also a good
opportunity for me to communicate with my teachers and
ask the ways and techniques which I can use to develop my
weak skill. I can attend ladies kind of seminars, business
events.
THREATS
• COVID pandemic is one of the biggest threat for me to
learn skills for my personal and professional
development. Due to COVID I am unable to learn
practical skills and learning through online is tough for
me. Tough competition for business professionals also
plays an important role in creating a big threat for my
aim
One skill that is particularly important, but I am weak at problem solving skill.

Detailed example of the actions that would be
taken to develop skills identified as weakness
in SWOT analysis
• From the SWOT analysis It is identified that I am lagging behind to
gain effective problem solving skills which is one of the most
important professional skill. I communicate my issue with my teacher
and she suggest me few of the solution to learn this skill effectively.
First of all it is a essential for me to analyse the issue that what is the
issue surround me and then I would require to collect information
from my surroundings to understand the depth of the problem. No I
must required to make alternatives of solution to a specific problem
and evaluate their pros and cons. the option which will have more
advantages than its disadvantages could be adopted to solve the
issue.

• I also choose another action to improve my problem solving skill and
which is to solve case studies related to corporate sector. I have chosen to
solve at least two to three case studies everyday which is limited to
corporate sector issues where at the end of each case study there are few
of the questions which is required to solve by me. I did the same and get
the answers checked by my teacher and she can sentence me whether I
understand the business issues mentioned in the case study appropriately
or not while checking my answers. Sometimes I would also require
suggesting some recommendations to solve the issue effectively. I focus to
make innovative and different recommendations which are appropriately
matched to solve the issue mentioned in case study.
