INTRODUCTION
Employability skills are the Traits as well as talent that makes attractive candidate
regarding job. By Improving employability skills by educations ,practical applications that
provides practical application that gives an edge regarding job market (Blyton and et.al., 2017).
Present report focuses on that how developing employability skills by the help of using feedback
as well as class activities.
Learning is all about needed to understand new things as well as picking then quickly. It
also includes being able to understand on new tasks as well as being able to adapt the change.
I have evaluated that I need to improve my academic skills which so that I can get excel in my
career. In order to grow various skills must be learned by me like for example Presentation. I
have also analysed that I must engaged in taking coaching for enhancing my presentation skills
so that I can achieve my long term study goals and objectives.
There are various types of models available that are used in writing reflection. These models
have its own elements. So, in order to reflect upon my learnings, I have used gibbs reflective
cycle model. There are five stages in it which is specified as below :-
Description
In this I learned many things in class activities. I did not know that how these are going to help
me so I did not react. Beside this, I evaluated learnings in segregated way and then understood
that how it will help me in my employability skills. In this way I understood that how all the
skills will be helpful for me. (Megarajan and et.al., 2018)
Feelings
Here, my feelings regarding the skills was that during learning I felt very exciting. This is
because I got to learn and gain new knowledge and skills. So, I got involved in learning those
skills and was curious about that what is going to happen next. I was also interested in gaining
more knowledge and to know about models and theories that is used. Whereas I realised that
other people though it very boring. They were not taking any interest in learning those skills.
Evaluation
By analysing the learning, I evaluated that there were many things that went well. In that I
learned new skills about employability. In that my teachers and friends contributed as well. The
positive was that I was learned a lot of things that will help me in my career growth. On contrary

way of learning that skill was taught. (Brooks and et.al., 2015)
Analysis
In my view I think that learning can be provided in more effective way. This means that by
providing practical activities skills can be learned easily. It will also enable me to find out loop
holes in that.
Conclusion
I learned a lot of things from my learning and employability skills. In that first of all I learned
about different class activities such as role play, group presentation, etc. Moreover, I could have
attended seminar and work shops that would enable me to learn skills in less time and more
efficient way. (Langeberg and Scott, 2015)
Action plan
Now, in future I will make sure that I attend seminars and work shops. So, it will help me to
sharpen my skills and knowledge. Apart from it, I will analyse case studies and learn my self. So,
it will be helpful for me to identify my capability.
I realised that good communication skills is a pre-requisite for getting in every job. These
are the skills required to send and receive message accurately. There are two forms of
communication. First verbal communication, in this, words are used to communicate either in
writing or oral. Second is non-verbal communication, in this communication is done without
words, for example, through our body language, movements, pitch of voice etc. Proper
communication helps in resolving conflict, team members can rely on each other and creates
positive work environment (Buchanan and Huczynski, 2019). So, I got to know that what are
types of communication and how it is used. It enabled me to communicate and interact with
others properly. Another thing that I learned is that active listening is the important part of
communication. It concentrates on what is being said with our mind open in comparison to
hearing in which we passively hear the speaker. Along with it, I got to know that listening and
communication both go in hand to hand.
I also learned another skill that is teamwork, it refers to the one's ability to work together in
a group or a team. Teamwork skill is vital to every organization and it can only happen if people
cooperate and use their individual skill to achieve team goals. There are number of benefits of
working in a team at workplace such as it fosters creativity and learning as working in a group

way of learning that skill was taught. (Brooks and et.al., 2015)

encourages critical thinking, building relationship and team oriented. Here I realised that these
skills can be learned and developed with practice but requires patience because it takes time. All

reading skills are not so good and not so bad, so I can include this skill in my medium term plan,
this will support me in growing and also I can choose my career in reading comprehension.

so this will also support me in enhancing my grades. If my impression is good than my tutors
will give me better marks, so I need to lay more focus on my comprehensive skills. This will also
support me in achieving my career goals and objectives. I have also analysed that I am also weak
in numbers, in order to improve my ability to solve numeric equation, I need to involved in
taking tuitions or coaching, in order to increase my control over numbers.
As a student I must also get engaged in note-taking as this will help me in remembering
and grasping things better. By this I will also not able to miss out any point which is left, so note
taking can be beneficial for me to outshine my career. This will help me in growing and also I
will be able to choose better path in my future. I will also be able to understand what issues or
difficulties I am facing in my studies.

Research skills- Solving and defining problems needed to do some research as it is considered
as a simple google search for me. By the help of learning I got to learn about the various research
skills that can be used in personal and professional life.
Emotional intelligence is also considered the influences that a problem or its solutions on the
other people. It is the ability to recognizes the emotions of others and myself ,it will helps to
guide me for an appropriate solution.
There are mention below skills about the personal skills within the emotional intelligence such as
self awareness (Choo, van Dun and Wilderom, 2018)

I learn Ethics that can be considered as a broad category that can refers to the principles of the
employees. Firms wants their employees who are able to understand as well as flow the rules of
the firm. They are also trustworthy and honest,responsible and act professionally.
Critical thinking is also one's ability to understand ,interpret as well as analyses the
information and at the same time draw the conclusions. For any problem solving there is a need
to assess situations and solve problems. Staff needs to think logically as well as make the
judgements that are sensible .
Planning as well as organizing is a skill that also I learn as it means working out what I
need . Planning as well as organizing skills involves like developing project timelines and also
meeting deadlines. It involves.
