Introduction
The primary aim of this report is to reflect upon my roles and responsibilities as a team
member. We as a team of four members had been provided with the opportunity of forming a
feasibility report on five or six different scenarios which were provided to us. Hence, we choose
the opportunity to deal with the rising obesity in the United Kingdom. As a team we wanted to
ensure that we perform well and are able to successfully ensure that as we are being provided
with an opportunity to explore theoretical concepts along with real world examples, we can
successfully learn to be ready for the real corporate world.
Roles played
Our team like any other team comprised of different members who had to complete a
designated task and be able to ensure that the feasibility study which was conducted was
completed before the designated deadline, and that all the requirements were being successfully
met with. In this aspect, we were given out different responsibilities and roles. According to
Chance (2013), the roles of the team members must be abided by in order to ensure the success
of the organization in the long run. In the team, I was provided the role of monitoring and
evaluating. In this role, I was required to ensure that the performance standards of the different
team members were being maintained effectively. Furthermore, I was also provided with the
responsibility of ensuring that all the members contributed equally to the purpose of the team.
Group dynamics with respect to delivering the report
The group which we were a part of was a task group and was essentially formed with the
objective of ensuring that we were successfully able to achieve the different group objectives
(Georgiadis 2014). Hence, being in the university, although we knew each other, we did not
know one another`s behavior (Crawford and LePine 2013). Initially this proved to be a problem
in our interactions, but later on as the dynamics of the group improved and we became friendlier
towards one another, it became comparatively easy to delegate the tasks and to achieve all the
group objectives (Wagner III and Hollenbeck 2014).

Responsibilities for the report
My responsibilities have been stated as follows:
Problems and factors associated with the new venture: Any new venture which is
supposed to launch its new idea in the market, is often faced by various difficulties and
problems. Hence, analyzing the problems and factors associated with the new venture is a critical
part of the feasibility report. I was expected to analyze and understand the case of similar
organizations in the field and thereby apply the concept to the case of the DIY Fit Application.
Intrapreneurial opportunity: Moreover, along with analyzing the problems and factors
associated with the new enterprise, I was also assigned with the responsibility of understanding
whether there lied a scope of any Intrapreneurial opportunity in the existing organization. Hence,
I laid out a set of factors supporting as well as conditions against the intrapreneurial opportunity
in the company
Brief description of involvement in group meeting
Group meetings are the primary source of communication for the group (Pinder 2014).
Although with the advent of technology, the group meetings have essentially lost their
importance with social means replacing the one to one meetings which take place between the
different individuals (Galegher, Kraut and Egido 2014). However, I had suggested in the group
that we should be going forward with the traditional method of the meeting. Hence, we met
every week and each of the members contributed extensively to the purpose of the meeting. I
was required to analyze all the contributions and go through the individual work contribution
made by each of the members in order to be able to ensure that the best quality work will be
provided to the tutor and that we attain the best grades. I assisted all the meetings and ensured
that I did not miss out on any critical aspects.

Details of contribution to group for the study
My contribution to the study involved ensuring that I completed two integral aspects of
the group report. These aspects included the aspects related to the scope of intrapreneurial
opportunities in the organization and the factors and problems which can be associated with the
new venture (Maxwell 2013). These aspects formed the basis of the study and hence, I was
expected to apply rational thinking in this domain and ensure that all the problems affecting the
growth of the venture and the factors supporting it with covered adequately.
Reflections on future contribution
As I aspire to become a manager in the future, I believe that I should have the right kind
of skills for it. The team project went a long way in assisting me to understand where I stand and
the different areas I must concentrate in the future so as to ensure that my performance as a
group member and manager increases extensively in a positive manner (Dyer 2015). Moreover, I
also aspire to ensure that if I am given group assignments in the future, I am successfully able to
complete them successfully by having an active participation in the group. Moreover, I also
aspire to take part in more team building activities so that my confidence improves and I am able
to score better in my grades along with perform better in my future organization.
Conclusion
The project assisted me in ensuring that I was able to learn about my skills during this
project. After undertaking the project I was able to analyze that I had the capability to perform
better for the organization and that I should try further and communicate effectively with my
team members to build a rapport with them which can further improve my performance
