MISSION STATEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I am assigned to the position of a leader in a corporate sector. As per my professional
philosophy, while stating my mission statement, I emphasize on self-analysis, prudency and the
ability to generate motivation for becoming a successful leader.
Firstly, I believe that, a leader’s ability to conduct self-analysis drives the person towards
perfection and maturity. Self-analysis has made myself confident about my strengths and
weaknesses. Secondly, I believe in being prudent and utilize my strengths to formulate strategies
to reach personal individual and also organizational goals along with rectifying my mistakes.
Thirdly, I believe in understanding the mentality and perspectives of the members of the team I
am leading and motivate them accordingly (Fastcompany.com., 2019).
The work ideology, which has been developed after several years of work experience in a
corporate sector, is that, a person needs to be confident about his or her abilities along with
inabilities. It is true that there is no alternative option for an excellent performance at workplace
except working hard, but the hard work should be accompanied by smart thinking and the power
to convince (Laird-Magee, Gayle & Preiss, 2015).
Self-assessment is always the best ways to know about the factors that make a person asset for a
company. In my case the unique values that make me an asset for a company, is my dedication,
hard work, confidence, determination as well as diligence. Firstly, hard work is the quality which
help me achieve my own objectives and goal of completing all of my duties within time.
Secondly, confidence and determination help me to survive any difficulties faced in the
workplace. Finally, the diligence in me assist me to strive consistently.
