This report investigates the recruitment and selection challenges faced by managers at Board Spa BY Steiner, a well-known ship company. It employs primary data collection methods, including both quantitative (questionnaires with 8 participants) and qualitative (interviews with a manager) approaches, to understand these challenges. The quantitative data is analyzed using frequency tables and pie charts to reveal insights into participants' understanding of recruitment processes, perceived importance factors, agreement on existing challenges, identification of vital challenges like lack of qualified candidates, and the impact of effective recruitment on the company's performance. The qualitative data from the interview provides in-depth perspectives on the objectives of effective recruitment, the main challenges encountered, and potential strategies for improvement. The report engages with literature to contextualize the importance of recruitment and selection processes in organizations.
