INTRODUCTION
Ethics refers to the principles and values which is to be carried by every person or
companies in respect of maintaining reputation and goodwill of the business by providing
standards services. Thus, in simple meaning ethics refers to the good action which is
undertaken by business regarding working in right directions. In present case, the report is
based upon the Boeing travel which is famous for dealing in the fastest selling aircrafts in
Boeing history (Akbulut and Ekin, 2019). Due to facing tremendous negative impact about
the crashes which arises in October and March and thus, resulting in hundreds of people died
due to such accidents. In this case study, the issues also raised regarding not working under
the issues which the airlines are facing such as not upgrading the software and also not
stopping the rumors which is arising through the social media platform.
Airlines industry refers to one of the fastest growing sectors and thus they mainly
attract the people through proper the services such as security of their life or also giving
discount during the booking of the tickets. Thus, in respect of Boeing business, they carry the
chances to attract the people through giving them security during the travelling with airlines.
Thus, in respect of examining the main aspects of the business, the main aim of this report is
to identify the impact of unethical behaviors which the airlines is engaging and whether it
allow company to operate in further perspective (Alsumairi and Tsui, 2017). It also stated that
various ways are adapted by Boeing business in respect of ensuring that company is working
under the ethical standards.
ANALYSIS
Unethical behavior:
In respect of understanding the meaning of unethical behavior in organization, it is
mainly stated that the hiding the things which is the liability of the person to be familiar
about. In respect of understating the unethical behavior which the Boeing business is attained
in the organization is in respective of two major aspects such as:
Issues with the Manoeuvring Characteristics Augmentation system: As this is mainly
appointed to check the software system which is imputed in the airlines. By examining the
reason behind the crush of the Boeing flights, the issues is raises regarding not smoothly
working of the software. As MACS carry the liability to keep it stable during the flying of the
airlines (Baxter, Srisaeng and Wild, 2018). Thus, by this aspects as per the government
norms, they are restricted to carry the flying activities and also special team is appointed to
conduct the search and examine the major issues regarding crashing of airlines. By viewing
this aspects, they are restricted to operate in airlines industry.
Not resolving online issues: This is another unethical behavior which is carried by the Boeing
business in respect of not disclosing the accurate information to the people through the social
media platform. It is examined that online sites are promoting the unfair news regarding the
company and in return, company is not taking any serious action to resolve such issues
(Dileep, 2019). As the news which is circulated on online sites are true and also it occurring
in the business. Thus, by reflecting such issue, Boeing business not carry such right to operate
the business.

Overriding the action by the Pilot: In respect of carrying the unethical behavior by the
software team, the issues is raised upon the pilot regarding not taking care during flying the
airlines (Holloway and Humphreys, 2019). This action is mainly undertaken by the owner of
the Boeing business regarding reducing the impact of conflict which is arises by the people
regarding blaming the software of the airlines. Thus, in this aspects the unethical behavior is
raised regarding not taking fair decision or securing the interest of pilot who are working with
them.
Avoiding government norms: As norms are strict in respect of not discriminating any person
on the bases of caste, sex, culture, region, religion or working post. As every person are equal
in the eyes of the company and thus, they carry the equal right in respect of securing their
interest (Halpern and Graham, 2018). But this is one of the unethical behaviors which is
undertaken in organization regarding blaming the pilot by not taking right action during the
time of flying the airlines or also not understanding the software indication within the
stipulated time period. Thus, it results in behaving unethically with the pilot and also can be
restricted in respect of operating at large scale.
Ethical standards:
Providing detailed information: As most of the issues are raised regarding not disclosing the
information about the airlines and also the consequences which may arises in near future
(Sinclair and Connelly, 2018). Thus, to maintain ethics at work place, it is necessary to
disclose the complete information and also the issues which the traveler can face during the
time of travelling.
Resolving false advertising: It is stated that every company carry the rights to file the case in
respect of facing any negative comments by people through the online sites. Thus, instead of
giving the right to people to post negative comments, ethics is to be maintained regarding
settling the issues through personally resolving the matters which is raising at work place. In
this case Boeing business is carrying the issues regarding facing fear during travelling with
the airlines (Hsu, Lee and Chen, 2017). Thus, in respect of building personal interaction with
them and also giving them security regarding their travelling, which helps them in rebuilding
their interest for longer way.
Discrimination: Another issues which is examined is relating to not taking care of the person
rights and also blaming other person in respect of not carrying any mistake. As in case of
Boeing business, the issues of plane crush arises due to problems in software but in respect of
avoiding the situation, they overriding the action by pilot regarding not giving timely sign
about the crucial situation (Iacovou, 2016). Thus, this results in distracting the interest of the
people and also affects the reputation and goodwill of the Boeing travel.
Legal implication: In respect of working under the government norms regarding working
under the guidance and instruction which is given to the airlines. As it is the duty of the
airlines regarding paying compensation to the people who suffer losses while travelling to the
airlines (Malamud, 2018). Through this manner, they maintain ethics in respect of giving
compensation to the people and also securing their right which they faced by losing their
family members during the time of airlines crush.
Suitable discounts and offers: As due to facing tough competition in market, most of the
airlines are discounting the needs of the customer through offering the high values prices. But

during the time of the booking the tickets they are rejecting such offer or discount. Thus, this
is the best way which is adapted by the Boeing business in respect of retaining the needs of
the customer towards the business for longer perspective. As in the case of online booking
sites such as Kayak, they introduced the new filter to choose the best airlines and also reject
the aircraft in case of not travelling with them (McCrie and Haas, 2018). Thus, by providing
best packages and also less prices are imposed, results in getting more interest of the
customer towards the Boeing business.
Special team to inspect the airlines: In respect of facing major crises in the airlines regarding
getting lack of maintenance or not upgrading the software, this is helpful in respect of
appointing the special team in the business to inspect the airlines. As ethics is to be
maintained in respect of disclosing every information which the company are facing during
the flying of airlines (Parolin and Boeing, 2019). By this aspects, the trained and expertise
team can handle the matters by their own and also sign the consent form regarding not
disclosing any of the information without their mutual consents. By this manner, the internal
information is to be retained in the company only and also the defects are to be reduced in the
business to gain the benefits through attracting customer with the new services.
Examining the issues of people: As it is not necessary that in respect of reaching to customer
and personally interacting with them, helps in resolving the matters or behaving ethically. It
is necessary to provide detailed information regarding the working of the company and the
equipment which they used is of high rated quality. As people not easily believe in the words
which is stated by the company until they view it personally (Shabani, Munir and Hassan,
2018). Thus, in respect of behaving ethically, Boeing Company can minutely check the
working of the employees and also use different promotional techniques to provide the live
services to the customers. By this manner, they are sharing the internal working and also
building trust among the customers.
Training: It is one of the most important aspects which results in maintain ethics by treating
every person in single platform. In respect of bringing any new and advances technology in
the business, it is necessary to provide the respective training regarding its usage and also the
consequences which they faced during attaining such services (Parolin and Boeing, 2019).
Similarly, this situation happens in this case as Boeing business is facing failure regarding not
providing training to the employees in the set direction. Thus, by undertaking the innovative
ideas of providing training results in maintain ethics at work place through guiding them in
right way.
CONCLUSION
From the above study, the report covers the matters relating to examining the working
of the Boeing business in respect of working under the ethical and unethical way. As in this
case the matters reflects about the working of the Boring business in respect of increasing the
number of travelers and also giving them security during the time of travelling with the
Boeing airlines. It is also discussed that the there are many ways which examines the
unethical behavior which is carried by Boeing in the business such as not disclosing the
accurate information or not working under the set norms given by the government. Thus, by
this aspect various factors which are ethical are to be given to Boeing regarding maintaining

reaching to people to resolve their issues which they are facing during preferring the Boeing
airlines.
RECOMMENDATION
From the above study by examining the factors which is to be changed or amended in
respect of making changes in the existing services or making improvement for better
perspective. Such aspects are to be recommended as follows:
Upgrading software on timely bases: This is one of the major factors which is to be
recommend to the Boeing airlines in respect of upgrading the software on timely
bases. As most of the silence business runs through managing the software who gives
timely indication regarding the external environment and also helps in resolving the
issues before any crises occurs (Smith, 2017). Thus, due to verifying the changes in
external environment, it also results in upgrading the technology by examining the
latest trends emerging in airlines industry.
Insurance facility during the time of booking: Insurance is one of the major aspects
which helps in providing security to the person during the time of travelling with the
airlines. As this option is given to the person during the time of booking the tickets
and such insurances policy is mainly designed by the company by taking care of the
traveler if they book their airlines for travelling (Tüzün, Ergül and Johnson, 2019).
This helps in reducing the impact of anxiety among the person which are not
confident in travelling with the Boeing airlines.
Taking feedback from the customers: In respect of building strong base with the
customer, it is necessary to build the connectivity with the customer through taking
proper feedback. By this aspects, it helps in examining the needs and preferences of
the customer towards the company. They can also interact with them and resolve the
issues which they are facing while attaining the services (Yeoman and McMahon-
Beattie, 2019). By this aspects, Boeing business, had to recruit the trained and
expertise person to handle the post of the customer services and also use clear and
understandable languages to present the thoughts and ideas in right way.
