Many firms are interested in witnessing their businesses succeed and creating a compelling
management strategy that will be essential in initiating the success. Existences of various issues
affecting the overall performances of the business are always a burden to the management.
existence of these issues may collaboratively eliminate the chances of the company reaching its
full potential. Therefore, it is important to establish appropriate strategies that will help in
addressing these challenges.
Well established and coordinated strategies that envision will help in advancing the ability of the
firm to perform various functions and effectively serve its customers. Proper adoption of the
strategies will ensure efficient gains for the organization.
Perhaps most essentially, the strategies will provide platform for various processes in the firm to
properly utilize the available resources and will encourage optimum delivery of products and

Introduction
This project plan is created to show the various activities that the group undertakes while
analyzing the underlying issues in the Boeing’s strategic initiatives in raw material supply chain
risk mitigation. The project plan consists of the work statement, objectives of the statement, tasks
allocation and the contingency plan.
Statement of work
For this project, we will cover the following;
Group programming- this is the face where the group members sit down and brainstorm on the
task ahead.
Schematics- the group develops a game plan including all the swatches, sketches and renders that
are necessary in conducting the business operations analysis so that all members are aware what
they are expected to accomplish by the end of the project
Delivery- business operations of the firm are critically analyzed
Project management- various strategies are proposed to counter the management issues pointed
out during the business analysis stage.
Project objectives
The main objectives of this project are;

Contingency plan
Purpose
This group’s contingency plan highlights the necessary procedures to recover the group’s
activities in case of any disruption. The following are objectives set for this plan.
a. Maximize the overall effectiveness of the adopted contingency plan having the following
phases

i. Contingency activation phase: to access the overall disruption caused to the group
activities
ii. Recovery phase: to implement temporary measures to recover the disruption caused
to the original plan
iii. Reconstitution phase: resolve the disruption and restore the activities to the original
operational framework
b. Establish the resources, activities and procedures required to carryout various group
activities during the prolonged disruptions of normal framework
c. Assign responsibilities to designated group members and provide the necessary guidance
for recovering
Applicability of the contingency plan
The contingency plan applies to all functions of the group, its operations and the available
resources required in restoring the normal operations. the group’s contingency plan applies to the
establishment of the group and all the individuals associated with the operations of the group.
The contingency plan is supported by the plan name, which defines the purpose of the plan.
Conclusion
Project plan schedule, planning scope and the set responsibility define the core of this group
activities and the overall project objectives. The most critical step involved in this project plan is
the tasks, the persons responsible and the estimated date of completion. As part of the plan, we
established a contingency plan to counter the possible interruptions that could be experienced in
the course of the project.
