and supply chain have impact in work. The financial process is going best as they have also
worked in pandemic for having more customer which could feel them more happy but their
reputation has been increased just because they are using more chemicals in products that

Impact of stakeholder
Boohoo company sometime take unethical decision where they have no prepared
valuable policies and protects against their employees. In this pandemic company have follows
no such rules which might be more important towards workforces. It is duty of managers to bring
positive and safe environment interior as well exterior as making such they can develop healthy
financial crises performance moreover long term rum company.
On other hand, stakeholder have affected for generating more profits and revenues to
company such as employees, customer, society and governments. The customer is backbone of
company when their needs not to be fulfilled they an adverse towards company financial
resources. Boohoo company customer are satisfied but their products are not eco-friendly so that

operation but not form its supply chain (Vitolla and et.al., 2019). In harming their environment
customer have demanded them to improve their surrounding while by using some eco-friendly
products, that might make their sales more and more. While, by this they can earn profits margin
along with that they can easily make them more satisfied.
Employee conditions is more unethical in company as they have poor conditions. Boohoo
do not follow their labour laws and try to make them more demotivated and make them to work
more. Company reaction regarding Covid-19 was not so too good in this pandemic they have
also work with their employee and no safeguard for their employee which could help in
workforce life. Managers have found no evidence that ensures in payment of living wages for its
supply chain. The brand most time received zero earning, with having no customer satisfaction.
Because when senior manager prepare strategies they do not keep in mind about employee as
they do not also keep some rewards systems in company. In having some financial rewards
labour cost will also be increased as they can achieve goals and objectives.
In order importance of employees and well-being is mostly related to productive in
company. Boohoo need to advertise more in involving organization, as a manager, employee also
feel proud that they are identified with their company name. In applicable this they will show
some positive contribution at workplaces (Goodman, Korsunova and Halme, 2017). In having
unethical marketing many animals and peoples are dead which have directly affected to

earning profits not in making other life satisfied. Business should be needed to prepare clear
purpose that will lead to make profit, do not against their employee laws, as their roles in society
will be positive and caring in earning more margins.
Governments rules are also not so applicable in company there is lock down in world but
Boohoo still work and no safeguard policies for their employee, which Govt. have been
prepared. As Boohoo have to followed rules and regularity which being set by them that might
be more helpful in company. Sustainability is also getting damage with products and
environment rules are breaking down by them. As they do not explode animals norms which is
most be important, to implementing this they can have huge amount rating in their goods as well
services. Govt. should also make some more rules which are to strictly or applicable for them.
Society is mostly harmful, like wise in which company is preparing their products.
Without using any safeguard protect against employee and just harming animals for developing
products (RemišováL, ašáková and Kirchmayer,2019). As manager, company should need to
understand their importance in environment, as they do not just harm for making goods and
services. This can also affect their financial conditions and economic likely if they make more
products using chemicals that hazardous for health than more customer either existing customer
will try to leave their brand. Their brand image will be more destroy and reputation of
establishment have to pay loss.
The marketing strategy should not be prepared in such ways that will have negative
dishonesty and publicity. This institution do not severance the law, but they sometime earn more
profits. To senior management it to be clear that they need to make market strategy while by
simply working harder and implement some new things that could be more effective. Also, try to
attract more customer and feel their employee safer in this pandemic.
Recommendations-
From the above practices, it determines about misleading of ethical issues in company
that may led to have negative impact on their business. Which must be more important for
damaging their negativity in publicity and learn how to make business longer term relationship.
As senior manager should be kept in mind about decisions if their stakeholder keys are facing
some problems. Then some customer will try to adopt others brand which have adverse effect on
company on financial condition or organizational culture.

They should have main focused on employee as well on customer because they both can
help their organization for being more developed. An ethical business will keep support in
maintaining their communication along with their roles of business in society. As leaders in
business will tell about how to achieve their goals and employee for keeping them more
awareness about any other things. Organization should also follow Govt. rules which are most
important for them and while in keep in mind they need to prepare some market strategy that
could make them more to keep working. Ethical business have significant towards positive
images among society, while because if someone asked their employee about their work, that
should be something ethical regarding anything in company. The importance of having ethical
business make more publicity and keep justifying stakeholders. Boohoo should also need to
adopt their business in form ethical so that their employee will be more happy, and they can try
to achieve more goals and objectives. For keeping them in stay Boohoo need to arrange rewards
for them such as financial, appreciation etc.
Ethical theories
There are various ethical theories which guides the companies to perform its work under
ethical framework which will not only helps them in raising their brand image but also enables
the companies to fulfil the needs and wants of its employees. Since these ethical theories guide
the companies to equally taken care of the employees as well its own objectives. Out of those
ethical theories, two important theories are:
Utilitarian theory of business ethics:
It is one of the important theory of business ethics which every organization have to
implement in their working structure to execute a healthy working environment where in
addition to fulfilment of company's objective or achieving its targets, employees and their
interest are given due consideration. As per utilitarian theory the actions which bring happiness
among the large number of employees or individuals will be considered as good action. This
theory works on the principle of adoption of those actions which will beings happiness among
the employees and discard those actions which will affects the employees pleasures or may lead
harm to them. This theory says that the company while performing business actions, always have
to contribute towards the society or for the betterment of the society (Baron, 2017). This, theory
follows three basic principles which includes:
Document Page
Happiness and satisfaction of individual is most important.
This theory works on the adoption of right actions which includes bringing of happiness among
the maximum individuals.
This theory focus on everyone which means everyone's fulfilment of pleasure is very important.
From the above principles it is very clears that this theory divides the wholes actions of the
company into two parts which means right and wrong actions (Hollander, 2019). And only those
actions will be promoted and adopted which will provides the benefits to the maximum number
of employees.
But in the present case of Boohoo the utilitarian theory and its implications is not really
works because the employees and their interest are not being considered by the company and
Boohoo is only adopting those actions which is helping it in achieving its target objectives.
Boohoo is not concerned about the employees and their health, it is only considered with its own
completion of work irrespective of either breaking the government guidelines and exploiting its
low level employees. Thus, implementation and adaption of utilitarian theory in Boohoo proves
to be very helpful in order to remove or minimize the negative aspects of press release (Kellogg,
2019). By adopting and implementing this theory in its working it would be able to give more
concentration to employees. Since the actions adopted by Boohoo is mainly concerned with the
individual objective and the interest of employees was not considered which results in spreading
of infections and poor work conditions. But by implementing this theory and adopting the right
actions in its working will definitely remove the poor condition of the Boohoo and helps it not
only in achieving its own objective but the objective and interest of individual employees will
also be taken care off. This will make the working of Boohoo and achievement of its objectives
in a more ethical way and it will also provide an insight by which it will be able to consider the
interest of all.
Deontology theory:
This theory also works on the principle of dividing the actions into right and wrong but it
mainly focuses on the execution of actions under the framework of rules and regulations. This
theory says that the actions will be considered as right only if it will not break the rules and
regulations set by prescribed authorities which means only those actions will be considered as
ethical if it obeys the rules and regulations (Barrow and Khandhar, 2017). This theory also give
importance to the fulfilment and consideration of individual interest along with company's

objective but it is very important that those actions will be ethical and under the framework of
rules. Focussing on individual employee's needs and wants in addition to own goal
accomplishment is important for every company but regulating as per the rules and carrying out
operations by following the rules is also very essential for every company to said to be and called
to be an ethical company (Heinzelmann, 2018). Thus, it would be right to said that this theory
mainly works and focus on the following of rules and adhering to regulations which helps the
companies to perform its work ethically with due following of rules which could either be the
company's own rules or the rules of the government.
Since, the working of Boohoo is only regarding the fulfilment of its goal and while achieving its
targets it is also ready to break the rules of government as it does in the case of breaking of
government rules regarding the Covid guidelines by calling the low level employees and
processing its works. Thus, it is very essential to implement deontology theory in its working and
performing its operations to make them more ethical and right. Also, as it is only considered
regarding its own objective without taking care of its employees is also fallen under the category
of unethical business but adopting this theory and implementing in its operations the unethical
appearance and performing of the Boohoo will be automatically converted into ethically correct
business. This theory would also prove to be more important for Boohoo not in just making its
business ethical by taking care of its employees but also leads the company towards the obeying
and following of prescribed rules which will further helps the company in the achievement of its
objective (Lazar, 2017). Thus, this theory not only helps the company in goal achievement and
being called to be ethical company but it also helps it to improve its image in the competitive
market.
PART-2
Ethical leader
Ethical leaders are those leaders who lead their followers or employees towards the
achievement of company's goal but within the framework of business ethics which means they
develop the team spirit among the employees and lead them to the work, but they always ensure
that the whole work will be done by following the business ethics which means he will never
bear the breaking of business ethics at any cost.
To become an ethical leader, I should consider the fulfilment of the following points:
Document Page
It is a general phenomenon that every employee is different from others in terms of their beliefs
or level of thinkings and thus to become an ethical leader I will always try to employ only those
employees who have same level of thinking and perception towards the business ethics so that
the situation of unethical environment will never occurs and the business of the company will
run in ethical manner.
To become an ethical leader, I will always promote open communication procedure in the
company whereby equal and fair right is given to every employee to express his views and ideas.
To being an ethical leader I will always promote the system of taking feedbacks from the
employees which will not only leads to the creation of satisfaction among the employees but
their interest along with the company's goal will also be achieved apart from the establishment of
business ethics in the company.
For becoming an ethical leader firstly I have to beware of myself which includes analysis of my
own fair judgement, biasses, pros and cons behaviours of myself and actions towards the
company (Engelbrecht, Heine and Mahembe, 2017). By self awareness and considering and
becoming myself more ethical I would be able to become a more ethical leader and also being
able to establish business ethics in the company.
By adopting and following the qualities of an ethical role model, I may also become an ethical
leader. I will adopt and put it into practice the qualities of my role leader into my practical life
which could help me in becoming an ethical leader.
I will also adopt the practice of doing justice and fair treatment, respect regarding others, and
ensuring honesty policy with myself and with other which will again helps me in becoming an
ethical leader.
I will always try to adopt and enhance team spirit which is the base of a good ethical leader in
my own working practice and operation in the company.
Encouraging initiative of the employees and hearing to them is most important quality of an
ethical leader and by indulging and adopting this quality in my working practice will help me in
developing and becoming an ethical leader (Shareef and Atan, 2019).
Ethical manager:
Ethical manger is a person who performs its managerial work but within the framework
of business ethics which means obeying the rules and laws. An ethical manager always ensures

that the code of business ethics should be followed and never be break while performing the
business functions (Cierna and Sujova, 2020). It is very essential that the company's manager
should be ethical not just for its functioning and image building but it also acts as a source of
motivation for others which means that an ethical manager always inspire and motivates the
employees of the company to follow and work as per the business ethics.
I think that there should be more rewarding practices to keep employee motivation.
Manager worker just not to take responsibilities but also to arranges their employee actions and
make more outcomes from their work. I have been good example of being ethical manager as I
just give my employee better communication with some authorities, developed their skills while
giving them some work according to their knowledge along with that try to make sure that they
can complete work as per given time (Schwartz,2017). As ethical leader I will apply moral
development theory which is most important in organization among employees, that keeps on
supporting employee from bottom to top-level. I will also make sure that employee show their
expectation and behaviours in meeting organization and other standards respects.
When applied to organization in creating ethical principles, if sometimes that could not
be applied properly it might be harm to organization culture and society. Managers are also
concern according tot their own interest rather than employee interests. This manager could also
help in achieving goals and objective as they will always try to support agenda in company.
Organizations have to maintain their ethical culture while by communicating with their staff. I
believe that environment in company should in ethical leaders or manager that more care about
stakeholders and society. For being ethical mangers it is not so easy in managing their work with
employee conflicts. I feel that contribution towards customer and employee will keep rating to
our business (Oumlil and Balloun, 2017). I will try to use eco-friendly products which could not
harm animals, peoples and surrounding. As ethical manager, I would like to keep my employee
more motivated and provide them well communication technology.
