Introduction
In the given study, research has been conducted of the Bosideng Company, China.
The objective and aim of the company have been discussed. A project management
plan has been produced that covers the aspect of time, scope, cost, risk,
communication, resources, and quality. The impact of the company on the host
company, Japan has been discussed. A Gantt chart and work breakdown structure
have been produced to provide stages and timeframe of completion of the project.
Bosideng Company is a publicly traded company that falls in the retailing sector. The
company was founded in the year 1975. It trades clothing in the “People’s Republic of
China”. Mr Gao Dekang is the chairperson of the company. It has a headquartered in
Shanghai. The core brands of the company are “Snow Flying”, “Bosideng’, “Kangbo”,
“Shuangyu”, “Shangyu”, and “Bengen’.
The host country for the expansion of this company is Japan. The GDP per capital of
the country is higher than China. Japan is also called the “Land of the Rising Sun”.
Tokyo is the capital of the country.

Introduction
In this part of the project, a management plan shall be produced in addition to a Gantt
chart and work breakdown structure. A project is a collaborative or an individual
enterprise, which is planned to attain a specific goal. Project management is the
exercise of planning, initiating, controlling, executing, and completing the project to
attain particular objectives and get success at a particular time (Kerzner and Kerzner,
2017). In this project, the impact of the company on the host country would be
discussed.

and such things are called the scope of the project. The report would inform the

research that is going to be made for the expansion of the company. The project is
necessary to depict the impacts of the business expansion of Bosideng Company in the
host country, Japan. The time that is required to finish the project is around one year.
Included Scope: The data that is gathered concerning the positive, as well as the
negative impact of the expansion of business through direct or primary methods, are
included in this project. In this project, the aim is to gain knowledge of the impact of the
company on the host country.
Excluded Scope: The information that is gathered from the secondary or indirect
methods will be excluded from this project.

Conclusion
It can be concluded that the functional organisational structure is best for this project.
The risk of failure of the project can be mitigated by proper strategies. The work break
down structure and Gantt chart has been provided to inform the time frame and stages
for completion of the project.
