Conclusion
When comparing Bruno and Samuel, it should be see that Bruno is a very curious boy, yet he is
completely ignorant of the situation around him. Shmuel, although he may not realize that
hundreds of detainees are being hanged, is aware that he is seen as a third-class citizen - or even
as a "non-person". Are seen - and very carefully not to provoke the anger of the guards around
the camp.
