INTRODUCTION
The movie “Boy in striped pyjama” revolves around good and bad characters classified on the
basis of their characters and role play. Where good characters were portrayed through Bruno;
who neglects the social distance from Jews; and treat Shmuel equal and as a friend. And also
shows friendship qualities; by helping his Jews friend in searching his father. On the other hand;
evil is defined as an event which is against good people and innocent people by demon of the
society who thinks that they are superior than others.
CONTEXT OF THE FILM
In the adaptation of the boy in the Striped Pajamas in the movie, the material portrays the mood
of the Germans in the first years of World War II with an example of a family. Several characters
are interwoven here, reflecting a different approach to the Jewish question. The main theme is
revealed through Prism, the worldview of an eight-year-old German boy who made friends with
a small Jew in a concentration camp. He does not understand what kind of "farm" is not far
away, and why he is not allowed to go there. Over time, talking to the servant-prisoner as well as
the boy Shmuel, he realizes that something bad is happening, but still idealizes the father. The
finale comes in the final of the movie, which remains open. In the film, the strongest moment

THE THEME OF EVIL
Evil is someone who do things against humanity; thus killing Jews without any fault but only
because they are born Jews shows moral evil which is portrayed in the film. Some of the
characters like Nazi’s soldiers and Bruno’s father were portrayed as evil in the film. Both
character brutally kill and slave Jews and treated them as they are not humans. They put all Jews
prisoners into gas chamber for mass killing. Events like put innocent people; even women and
children into gas chambers for killing them, which Hitler called treatment are portrayed as evil in
the film. These events were evil because; every human have equal rights to live in this world.
Killing children, women and innocent people brutally shows inhumanity act and thus it is evil; as
only demon can do this. For the vast majority of the film, the camera work is done so that you
feel inundated. A portion of the scenes we find in the film are structured so that the camera edge

causes the crowd to feel in front of an audience with the characters. The chief's decision of
photography with camera edges causes the watcher to feel as though they were joining the family
after supper. After the subject of bondage; as a rule it is effectively conspicuous when the light
gets darker. Low light gives the scene a more splendid sentiment of brilliance. After the subject

voice other than his voice that symbolizes the sentiment of reality. It appears that the watcher is
in scenes with the characters as a result of how reasonable the climate is. The executive's
