There are more than 450 theories related to psychology and the trainee counselors use
counseling and the ones, which have received effective feedbacks in terms of both validity and
reliability. In order to bring the efficient outcomes, a unified approach is conducted which is both
customer centered and consumer driven. It requires patience and endurance to apply the efficient
communication skills along with the counseling theories. The significant learning methods that
are available to trainee counselors are reading books, experience, and discussion with the
counselors, practical counseling courses and counseling supervision (Lam, Tracz and Lucey,
2013). In order to consistently enhance and boost their skills, the counselors experience
continuing supervision to learn about the new theories and techniques of learning, while joining
a successful organization (Cowie and Pecherek, 2017). Thus, the trainee counselors are
supervised to pursue their learning and to up skill. Being client centered is important for
becoming an effective counselor.
Question 2
In order to enhance the efficiency of counseling procedure, the trainee counselors applies
a technique, known as micro skills. An eminent way of learning the modified techniques of
learning is Triads. However, while practicing first learning and applying micro skills, the trainee
counselor faces some difficulties (Clarke and Braun, 2013) such as,
