Introduction
The arrival of digital technology has brought a huge revolution in the basic conduct of the duties
and responsibilities of the business. From the last few years, there has been determined a huge
change in the traditional models and ways of performing the business activities. There has been
provided huge opportunities, means and methods to the organizations for performing the various
business activities all caused due to the arrival of the digital technology in the era. It has
increased the profitability of the initial products in the organization by the arrival of the digital
technology in the operations. The project is laid on the Brake Bros Limited Company which is
engaged in the food sector in the UK. The report will show the ways and methods adopted by the
company in order to overcome the challenges which are faced while dealing with the digital
methods in performing the operations in the business cycle. The study will show that how the
project management plan works and proves helpful to the company in fulfilling the needs of the
business effectively and efficiently. There is also shown a huge of recommendations for the data
which is being used by the company in performing the various activities in the digitalized
business.

P1. Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario.
The company which has been selected is Brakes Bros Limited which is the supplier of catering
products in the UK and deals with the food and drinks. The company has its headquarters in
Ashford, Kent and United Kingdom and serves the foodstuffs in more than 20 centers in the area.
It was established in the year 1958 by William, Frank and Peter Brake. The company has a huge
faith in following the latest techniques and innovative methods in dealing with its services with
the customers. It believes in bringing the efficiency and effectiveness in the work. The company
can also have the use of the Supply Chain Management model which is best for the proper
planning and networking in the organization(Bharadwaj, et. al., 2013).
The main aim and objectives of the project study are described below:
 Implementation of the model of supply chain management in the organization for better
efficiency in the operations.
 Designing and undertaking a proper planning in order to improve the working scenario in
the organization for the completion of the tough tasks.
 Proper management of the finance and funds in the organization to rescue the company
from mishaps (Bharadwaj, et. al., 2013).

 Cost: There is a huge impact on the cost factor in the organization in order to have the
good conduct of all the operations in the project. The report is thus maintained in order to
determine the threats and challenges in adopting the digital technology in the Brakes Bros
Limited. There is need to have a good budget plan in the organization. The research
would be done performing the analysis of the data and making Gantt chart and work
breakdown structure (Yoo, et. al., 2012).
 Scope: It is also among the important factor in the organization which should be
determined at the early stage in the business. The whole projects deal in finding the
various areas and the better scope of the digital technology in the Brakes Bros Limited
which is very essential for the company in order to increase the number of sales in the
company. It can be said that the project has a better scope in the segment of selling and
marketing.
 Time: It is amongst the most important factor in the organization which is to be
determined at the beginning of the project. There should be proper time management in

preserve it from the future problems. The risk factor would be like the existence of the
high amount of expenditure and delays in the work. The best thing which should be done
in order to minimize the risk factor is to have a proper planning for the research purpose.
 Resources: There is the need for huge amount of resources in the organization for the
better completion of the project. In order to reach the goals and objectives of the
organization, there should be the availability of enough amounts of human resources in
the company. The financial resources should be used in the company by having the
proper determination of the cost factors in the organization.

The below mentioned points and factors should always be preferred while producing a
comprehensive project management plan:
 Cost: The cost would be considered as $400 which is somewhat higher as compared with
the earlier project being completed by the company.
 Time: The time phase of the project would be selected as 17 days starting from 2nd June
2018 to 18th June 2018.
 Quality: If it is talked about the quality of the work, it would be considered after having
the proper determination of the aims and targets of the organization. The most important
thing in this to have a proper study of the research in the project work (Berisha-Shaqiri,

 Scope: The main focus of the organization would be on the initialization of the
