Introduction
The attractions for the natural sites, new locations have been observed among the people from
many years. The peoples prefer to explore new places, especially the places which are rich with
exotic sceneries. The globalization, technological advancement, developments of many new
flight routes and commencements of more low-cost carriers encourage the instinct of the people
to explore the tourist destinations across the globe. Like peoples of other countries, the UK
citizens also prefer to explore exotic locations around the globe (Futuremarketinsights, 2019).
However, the UK is going through an economic downturn and value of British ₤ is continuously
decreasing, the demand for holidays among the British population is persisting at a high level.
The British tourists seek more authentic tour experiences and it ultimately tends them to explore
new tourist destination. The outbound tourism from the UK was 72.8 million in 2017
(Researchbriefings, 2019). It shows the interest of the British tourist to explore the global
destination. Brazil is one of the most favorite tourist destinations in the world and gradually the
British are also interesting to explore the natural beauty and wildlife of Brazil. The powdery
white-sand beaches, luxuriant rainforests, wild rhythm filled metropolises are the key attraction
of Brazil. Furthermore, the carnival of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo's nightlife are also a crucial
tourist attraction in Brazil. The tourist attractions of Brazil increase the global tourist arrivals in
this country. According to trading economics report, the number of tourists has been increased to
6589,000 in the year of 2017 from the last year 2016, which were 6547,000 (Tradingeconomics,
2019).

destination
Brazil is the largest country in southeast America. It occupies a large part along the eastern coast
of southeast America. The government has grouped its states into 5 large statistical and
geographical units. This is known by the name of major regions including north, northeast,
central west, southeast and south. The north consists of states like Acre, Rondonia, Amazonas,
Para, Tocantins, Roraima, and Amapa. All this comprises two-fifths of the Brazilian territory and
also includes the Amazon rainforest. This also includes some part of Guiana and Brazilian
highlands. The northeast consists of Brazil’s one- fifth part. The southeast covers one-tenth of

Brazil territory. The south consists of Brazil small part but a great part of Britain. As the south
expands below the tropic of Capricorn. The central west of Brazil covers approximately one-
fourth of Brazil (Martins and E.James, 2019). The main airport in Brazil is Sao Paulo- Guarulhos
International airport. It is one of the busiest airports in Brazil (Sawe, 2019). Due to the world cup
event in Brazil, the infrastructure has seen great development. Because of the world cup, Brazil
has observed a high rate of tourist all over the world that has created it to make development in
its infrastructure. In 2014 the tourist rate was tripled from 2013. The state of the art facilities of
Brazil also contributed to its infrastructure after the FIFA world cup (TravelWires, 2019).
The manmade attractions in Brazil are
 Teatro Amazonas: It is an opera house built near the banks of the Amazon. It is built in
the city of Manaus (baker and fuerbacher, 2016).

 Sambadeome: It is a special form of arrangement which is done in Brazil at the time of
carnival. This includes the samba dancers all over Brazil. As the samba is the Afro-

The natural attractions in Brazil are
 Iguazu Falls: It is in the south of Brazil. It is a waterfall with beautiful greenery all
around. There is a spot in the river where the border of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay
meets. The fall consists of 275 separate drops some even reach at a height of 300 ft.

 Itaimbezinho Canyon: in Aparados da Serra national park consist of this canyon which

The Amazon rainforest is identified as one of the most highlighted points of interest among
tourist individuals. Amazon rainforest is identified as one of the largest tropical rainforests. This
rainforest includes the largest number of known species. There are almost 40,000 plant species,
3000 fish species, 380 reptiles' species, and 1300 bird species. The journey of the forest can be
explored by boat in the longest river of Amazon. The tourist also gets to observe the tribal
people's way of living. By observing the lifestyle of tribal peoples the tourists able to know their
relationship with the forest. Botanical garden of Curitiba is another famous French garden
located in Southern Brazil. The greenhouse is made up of the elements of metal. The entrance is
covered with glass which is considered to be the main tourist attraction. This garden mainly

protects the numbers of special species. This botanic museum in the garden of Curitiba has
numerous collection of indigenous flora. This garden museum has also many botanic species.
The sculptures, videos, photographs, and publication in the garden's exhibition center is also
identified as one of the most special attractions of tourists.
The Amazon theatre is identified as the historic theater. This historical theater is established in
Northern Brazil in the center part of the rainforest. This sculpture is also recognized as Manaus
opera house. Chapada dos Veadeiros is another national park situated in the Goias state. This
place is identified as the most highlighted place by tourists. This place has lush greenery, hiking
trails, wildlife, and cascading waterfalls. On the other hand, Aparados da Serra is identified as
the first national park of Brazil. This part was found in order to protect Itaimbezinho. This is
identified as an impressive canyons of Brazil. Some of the well-known art galleries of Brazil is
Galeria Luisa Strina, gallery Brazilian engraving, and Ruzza & Thaisa art gallery.
A large amount of tourist come to Brazil from the United States. The United States is identified
as one of the second biggest sources from where a number of tourists come to Brazil. It has been
analyzed that 586,463 tourists of the United States had spent their vacations in South America
during the period of 2012. On the other hand, Chile is identified as the third biggest source of
tourists. Large population arrives in Brazil for spending their vacations. Around 250,586 tourists
from Chile have visited Brazil during the period of 2012 and it has raised to 336,950 during the
period of 2014. Ecotourism is one of the most renounced types of tourism that Brazil mainly
offers to its tourists(Pariona, 2019).
The need for theory of Maslow hierarchy can be used to understand the main purpose of tourists
that arrive in Brazil. The tourists attain a certain type of satisfaction by visiting Brazil.
Ecotourism is one of the major motivators which attracts huge numbers of tourists. The
ecological environment has been identified as one of the main aspects that fulfills the need of
tourists. Brazil is identified as a safe nation, especially for tourists. Therefore it can be said that
the tourists would be very slightly influenced by the criminal effects.

Word’s eighth largest economy is considered as Brazil. The population of Brazil at present is
212,058,413 (Worldometers, 2019). Brazil has faced an immense problem in sorts of

unemployment. The unemployment rate has increased in the field like Brazil in the last few
months. However, at present,, the industry sector of Brazil grow stronger in the month of
February. It is observable at present that the economy of Brazil has strengthened to somewhat
this year. As there was improved in the monetary policy. The economy of Brazil is still facing
huge challenges in terms of unemployment. The public finances are improving but the problem
of pension is likely to be going down in Congress (Focus, 2019). Brazil has gone through the
recession time in the year 2015(-3.8%) and in the year 2016(-3.6%). The sudden crisis in the
economy like Brazil is only because of the fall of prices of the commodity and also due to a
decreasing in the rate of consumption and investment. However it is noticeable in the year 2017
the country has got recovered from its problem and Gross Domestic Product has also increased
by 1% (Nordeatrade, 2019).
Favorable economic conditions of Brazil have enhanced the growth of Brazil more. The
Brazilian economy has noticed the growth of gross domestic product by 1.4%. The economy by
far is expecting more to grow and is presumed to reach GDP rate by 2.4% in the year 2019. The
Brazilian economy inflation rate has also increased by 3.7% in the year 2018 as compared to the
previous year. However, taking into consideration the contribution of tourism to Brazil's GDP is
immense. Tourism contributes near about that of $152.2bn. Moreover, the tourism and travel
industry has played a great role in terms of employment and jobs. The total contribution of this
industry to Brazil was that of 7.8% of total employment. It is expected that in the coming years
there will be around 9 million jobs with the help of the tourism and travel industry. It is visible in

Brazil has experienced a good period from the year 2003 to 2014 in terms of social and
economic. At that period poverty was declined and near about 29 million of million were
safeguarded from poverty. The people who were then below poverty line their income was also
got increased by that of approx 7.1% in that period. It was also noticed that Brazil population has
also increased by 4.4%.however it is observed that in the year 2015 the poverty and inequality
problem has reduced (Worldbank, 2019).

Brazil is considered to be the fifth- largest country globally by both areas as well as in
population. Brazil is also well known for its most culturally and geographically diverse nations
on the planet. Due to this culturally and geographically diverse features Brazil has earned its
nickname as "land of contrasts".
 Brazil language
Brazilians also share a national culture which makes the country an example of the unity of
diversity. Ninety – nine percent of the Brazilian population speaks a romance language,
Portuguese belonging to the Indo European family of languages. Majority of the Brazilians are
monolingual in the Portuguese. The individuals are very wealthy and the maximum of the people
have studied other language as well such as English, French Spanish, and German. The people of
Brazil are very proud that the hold the linguistic heritage. Recently the foreigners those who are
from the Canada and United States they speak Spanish (Studycountry, 2019).

 Brazil religion- In Brazil Roman Catholicism is considered to be the most prevalent
religious faith. In Brazil the maximum percentage of Brazilians are Catholic. Brazil
remains the largest population of catholic globally. States and the churches are been
separated in Brazil. The Brazil constitution of the year 1988 affords the freedom of all the
citizens in religious belief and expression. The Catholicism which has been practiced by
the Brazilians has a huge differentiation than the rural and the urban settings. "Folk
Catholicism" that includes religious practices and the beliefs are not been followed in the
cities. The Catholicism survives in the places of pilgrimage. This attracts thousands of
Brazilians from huge distances. Apart from Catholicism, there are other faiths and beliefs
that are been practiced by a minority of the population. Protestantism is among them
which is been slowly increasing. In recent years the Pentecostal churches are one of the
great success. Through television and radio the sects target preach and the poor
population in order to make self-improvement by individual initiative. Still, now there is
much indigenous religion that still exists in Brazil such as Candomble. This religion
consists of both European religion and African.
 Brazil etiquette- Brazil etiquette is very open and much expressive. They greet their
guest and another individual with kisses on both cheeks whereas men welcome each
other with pats and hugs on the back. This type of expression also tends to extend the
conversations.

France, and Italy but currently, they are more interested to visit the Latin American countries and
Caribbean islands. Brazil is one of the most exciting tourist attractions in the world and
eventually the British Tourist are also attracting towards the exotic natural landscapes of Brazil.
There are various tourist sites in Brazil, which attract the global tourists for various reasons like
natural landscapes, wildlife and exciting culture, tradition, and heritage of Brazilian society. The
tourism industry is one of the most crucial industries in Brazil and it has a significant
contribution to national GDP. The exciting social and cultural aspects of Brazil are also crucial
for attracting global tourist in this country.
Recommendation
The destination country Brazil is obviously blessed by nature as there are several exotic locations
in Brazil. The powdery white-sand beaches, green rainforest, wild as well as red-rock valleys,
coral-fringed humid tropical islands, thundering waterfalls increase the attraction of Brazil in
many folds. The Amazon Jungle and Amazon River attract adventure lovers across the globe.
Moreover, the rhythm-filled metropolitan areas and exciting nightlife of the Brazilian cities also
