Introduction
There are different regulation which are introduced after the UK's departure to form EU
and faced challenges for the food and drink industry. With the roadmap of the government it is
basically related to restriction to make regulations in the mind of British customers. It is
basically a battle against Covid-19 that actually draw to make tending elsewhere. The use of
Brexit on the grocery food retailing industry is helpful for work in EU (Brooks and et.al., 2021).
Many of the cases the use of consumer behaviour are changed which make a strong impact on
adding costs and delays in grocery foods in managing supply flow for encountering the stock at
unchanged and differ prices. All of these are helpful to get the data and make influencing
behaviour of Brexit on the consumer buying behaviour to work effectively into the grocery retail
industry (Brexit’s impact on consumer spending, 2021). This research proposal is highlight about
the influences of Brexit on consumer behaviour in chosen company Tesco. The company offers
for a brand range of benefits to make effective supply and significant workplace to work and
shop (Beacom and et.al., 2021). The main culture of the company is to work together and try to
introduce a big difference in retail industry of UK market. This proposal includes aim and
objectives for completing project. Furthermore, different segment of research methodologies
have been evaluated in this project.
Research Rationale
The main reason for conducting this research report is to examine the influencing factors
of Brexit on different consumer buying behaviour in grocery food store in UK market. This
study provide a support on personal and professional perspective of the researcher. In the context
of professional benefits, the advantage of conducting this research is to make a strong base about
Brexit and its influence on the customers of the country. It can be helpful for the retail industry
to make effective respond in market and gain effective strategies on Brexit. After the Covid-19,
there are different perspective that is associated to cost and revenue of the retailers that are differ
by different category (Jaravel, 2021). In the context to personal growth, it is helpful for the
researcher in dealing with improving skills that are useful to make effective time management,
communication and provide significant growth in different personal perspective. Moreover, this

to help and conduct the future investigation. In addition to this, it helps the investigator to
develop a professional career development and growth along with the effective personality. This
will further assist to make deals with other employees and associated to solve the major

Research approach
The use of appropriate research approach is basically helpful in conducting hypothesis to
study in the main distinctive ways in between deductive and inductive approaches. Both of these
methods are helpful for completing the research, but deductive research is effective for
completing the study. Deductive approach provide a comprehensive understanding of impact of
Brexit and its impact on the consumer behaviour in grocery retail industry. This study is helpful
in conducting research on less cost and time (Ahmed and et.al., 2021). Furthermore, the use of
appropriate use of study and beneficial methods are considered for make a suitable justification

to conduct the numerical based data for testing to manage different information. This will be

understand the nature to complete the research.

The main research methods for conducting the present study is beneficial for managing
action research, survey, experiment, case study, observational and different studies in different
perspectives. As per the need of this research, Survey is used to work effectively and make
appropriate success in different ways. This strategy is helpful for the researcher to assist the
investigator for gathering data and helps in gaining reliable and valid outcome to manage
appropriate sources to complete this investigation (Windchief and Cummins, 2021). The main
reason for choosing is to help the data and make collection of sources through the large

with community sampling approach to achieve through the primary data sources.

Research Participants
In order to choose the right participants, Survey method will be chosen by the researcher
to conduct sampling. It is one of the basic and appropriate research tool to make convenience to
make this approach and provide a significant growth in the present study. It will be helpful for
conducting sampling method by using probability and non-probability methods. The researcher
opted probability sampling method as it will be helpful for choose from large range of
respondents into the market (wa Mungai, 2021). The main respondents of this study are the
employees of Tesco, as they are well aware with the policies and strategies of the company taken
to enhance their productivity on the basis of consumer behaviour. The chosen number of
respondents for completing project is 30.
Validity and reliability
The major reliability of the researcher which is based on execution of test to analyse their
instrument which is based on survey or questionnaire. This is basically for managing
understanding of questionnaire which was consistent to make different respondents. It will be
basically helpful for revised to make address the issues in different questions to pilot of different
questionnaire. It was deemed to provide a reliable source which is helpful for conducting
difference set of questions in the questionnaire (Yang, 2021). The questionnaire is based with
close ended questions that are related to impact of Brexit and its influence on the consumer
behaviour within the grocery retail industry in UK. It will be helpful for managing different
sector to work effectively and provide a valid and reliable data in different sectors. The result of
this approach is basically related to perspective image to their respondents.
Data analysis
It is the basic procedure that is helpful for collect primary data as well as secondary data
sources by researcher. In the context to primary data sources, questionnaire will be used by
researcher and assist the reliable and accurate data with less time to complete to choose the
appropriate structure and data. For the collection of primary data, respondents are helpful to gain
the data and make suitable practices to work appropriately and manage the data in an efficient
manner. On the other hand, for the collection of secondary data books, Journals, papers and
many more methods are used to gain more information about the respective topic. Both of the
methods are helpful for complete the data and manage different perspective to achieve the
