Introduction
Brexit is a wide term which can be considered as the abbreviation for British exit that
referring to the decision of United Kingdom to leave the European Union in the June 23, 2016.
Brexit consist to the possibility of Britain withdrawing from the European Union. The decision
of Brexit transform the nation and Europe forever. When David Cameron become the prime
minister of Britain in the year of 2010 as the head of a conservative Liberal Democrat coalition,
minister had to stand with pressure about a Europe vote from the independence party of pro-exit
UK and from restive Eurosceptic in his own party (Pisani-Ferry and et. al., 2016). Thus in the
year of 2013 he promised an in-out referendum on the membership of EU, if the party of
conservative won the election in the year of 2015. Brexit is not about trade among countries and
macro economics. It can be considered as the potential risk that has a real impact on individual
organisations, as the corporate wheel that has very various cogs from European Union. Brexit is
effective in developing operations of various organisations and helpful in enhancing
organisational performance through separation of countries.
Back ground of the research
In this modern scenario the basic purpose of each business organisation is to gaining high
profit and growth at market place through offering variety of goods and services to their potential
buyers who are very much willing to using the products and services of firm. Brexit is a wide
term which has some positive as well as negative impact on organisational performance. Brexit
is determined as the separation of United Kingdom and European Union. The basic purpose of
choosing this topic is to enhancing the skills and knowledge of learner about Brexit as it is the
most essential element of society in this modern era (Inglehart and Norris, 2016). It is the most
popular and large separation which is taking place between United Kingdom and European
Union. This also helps in developing organisational performance through providing products and
services in different geographical areas. Through Brexit both the countries earn their own profit
which is different from each other.

This is the most important section of research project as it helps the researcher for
conducting an in-depth research through accumulating data and information through secondary
resources. It also helps in providing significant direction in which researcher have to implement
all activities in appropriate manner (Goodwin and Heath, 2016). This section sets a path for
researcher through providing an in-depth overview of all relevant elements. This section helps in
gathering reliable and valuable data and information in order to generate possible outcomes.
Impact of Brexit on economy
According to the opinion of Dorling, 2016 European union membership plays an
important role in economic prosperity of UK. The growth of United Kingdom has started to
weaken due to unpredictability about the result of referendum. Brexit, i.e., UK exit would be a
extensive negative shock to the economy of United Kingdom with economic downfall. Brexit
would be same to GDP tax, if European union remain in UK, rising and persistent cost would not
be incurred on the the economy. Transmission of the shock would be done by several channels
that relying on the time period. The consequences of that would hit the economy of United
Kingdom very badly. It would result in weaker confidence and tighter financial position after
Brexit. It highly influence the economy of UK. Its positive impact is that, some organisations
are developed which results in increase in the productivity of the firms in an effective and
efficient manner. But it also put negative impact on some companies of United Kingdom as some
firms would not be able to develop. It would directly affect the economy of UK. It might
influence the financial flows, movement of labour, trade and investment. It results in 1 %
reduction in Gross domestic product level.
Different ways through which economy can attain growth
According to the point of view of Katie Allen, there are some ways which is considered
by the government to achieve growth in the economy. These are as follows:
Tax cuts: The government cuts tax rates up to 20% cutting in VAT and below 15 % cutting
corporation tax. This is done to promote investors to invest in Britain.
More spending on infrastructure: Organisations urging the legal authority of United Kingdom
to spend more amount of money on infrastructure like, rail links and roads. They argue that this

is the right time to borrow money as the interest rates are low. It would result in the flow of
money in the economy and creates employment that yield long term gains to economy.
Boosting productivity: In order to come up with shortage of skills in Britain in some areas such
as , information technology and construction, some steps are taken by the government that help
ion increasing the productivity of the organisations (Dhingra and et. al., 2016). The legal
authority has committed to increasing number of apprenticeships and develop new 3m
apprentices.
Relationship between Brexit and organisational performance
According to the point of view of Alice Foster, in last year, the public of Britain voted for
British exit and this will completely transform United kingdom and Europe forever. Brexit from
European union is a historic referendum. After the result declaration of this, the currency fell at
its lowest level. The chief negotiator of European union says that sufficient progress has not be
made by United kingdom in the first stage of EU exit, but the secretary says that UK has been
made enough progress. Due to Brexit, the victory sent economic shock waves by global markets
& its top credit rating is lost by Britain. Drastic changes has been made on the economy of UK.
The banks cut its interest rates in England and took necessary emergency steps to protect United
Kingdom from recession. It influence in both ways, positively and negatively to the economy.
Because of Brexit, unnecessary laws and regulations are changed. This proved to be beneficial
for some organisations as their productivity increases which results in the growth of economy.
Brexit will drag down the economy. After this, the European union decides to alter policies it
may result that united kingdom lose its access to single market. Due to separation of European
union, they cannot be able to expand (Kierzenkowski and et. al., 2016). Employment rate is
increased at larger level and the individuals get jobs easily. It will improve the living standard of
the local community and the productivity of the firms increases at higher level.

It is the most essential responsibility of researcher to evaluate the type of research
because it is more effective in moving forward towards right way. A research can be
accumulated as qualitative or quantitative in nature. Quantitative research is based on quantity of
data and on the other side qualitative data is based on quality of data which are gathered by
investigator from various resources. The present is based on qualitative method as it is more
suitable for evaluating the gathered data and information with the help of proper tools and
techniques.

This can be measured as the essential tools of research methodology and this section of
research is classified among two different elements such as inductive and deductive approach. In
the case of inductive approach research work can be moving forward through observing existing
facts and figures which are accumulated by researcher. On the other side deductive approach is

creation of themes so as to segregate and evaluate the data in most effective and efficient way.

This part of research plays most effective role in resolving the issues and conflicts that
replicates at the time of conducting any kind of research project. It is required for investigator to
ensure their respondents about safety and security of their personal data. The major responsibility
of researcher is to make proper management plan in order to reaching at desired goals and
objectives. Researcher needs to assign significant time for each task so that work can be done in
given period of time. It is the fundamental duty of researcher is to reduce risk in respect to
conducting the whole research activities in right and systematic direction. Research ethics can be
considered as the most effective part of research which involved human subjects, various
complex ethical, social, legal and political issues. This section of research is specially interested
