 Domestic tourism is important
because it helps in enhancing the
overnight visits

Briefly describe how leaving the EU will impact on tourism sector
 Roaming fees- The EU has launched caps
for mobile phone roaming charges,
harmonising the maximum charges
applicable to customers while using their
phones.
 Package travel directives- While making
booking, this directive offers customers
protection in case of bankruptcy.
 Freedom of movement- While retaining
the passport control, the UK tourists are able
to travel feely within the continental Europe.

What is one potential opportunity it could
create
 One of the potential opportunity created
by Brexit Vote is the free trade where no
tariffs will be imposed on export or import
among member states.
 The Eastern EU immigration raised the
British economic growth and made all the
UK citizen richer.

What is one possible problem
 The possible problem due to the
Brexit Vote is that the risk to tourism
following EU and trade negotiation
increases the food price dramatically.
 The rise in the fuel price is affecting
the travelling purpose of customers.

Conclusion/Recommendations
 As per the discussion done in the previous
slides, it has been analysed that the Brexit
is having positive as well as negative
impact on the UK tourists.
 For managing the implication of Brexit, the
UK tourism needs to be get prepared
before any of the bad situation.
