Bri Tech: Business Communication Barriers, Strategies, & Awareness

This report identifies several business communication barriers at Bri Tech, including physical distance due to remote work, organizational structure, perceptual and emotional barriers, and interpersonal challenges exacerbated by lockdown conditions. To address these issues, the report proposes strategies such as establishing clear communication channels, implementing safety measures, providing regular feedback, developing active listening skills, and fostering cultural awareness. These strategies aim to improve employee relationships, ensure effective collaboration, and create a positive and inclusive work environment within Bri Tech, especially during and after the pandemic.

In situations when two or
more employees are
working from home
especially in times of
Covid than there are
chances that effective
communication is not
established due to long
distances and work might
not be carried out as
smoothly as it should be

It is another barrier that
may put negative
impact on effective
communication and
collaboration between
existing & new
workforce.(Glowacka,
2021).
Perceptual barriers
Most of the organizations
employees may do not
communicate
appropriately because of
various job roles and
position of the employees
that creates feeling of
hesitation, among each
other to approach for
various matters
Emotional barrier
To carry out all work in
effective manner it is
very much important
that high level of trust
is developed among the
employees' so that ideas
could be shared easily
Interpersonal barrier
Just because of
lockdown and working
from home, individual
person may feel lack of
interpersonal skill and
face issue to interact
with other colleagues in

Rules and regulations
It is to be made
compulsory for Bri
tech employees to get
vaccination
certificate before re-
joining offices

Providing feedback
It is best strategy as
Bri tech understand
that in hard times
like pandemic it is
very important to
collect opinions of
each employee about
the work and
colleagues so that
changes might be
made accordingly.
Develop listening
skills
This strategy for Bri
tech employees will
be beneficial as
through conducting
various online
meetings employees
would know each
other well and their
opinions too thus
developing better
relationships.
Cultural awareness
Cultural awareness
helps in overcoming
various barriers that
allows the people to
appreciate other
people that are
completely different
from one another.
