International Leadership involves the ability to influence and inspire the thinking,
attitudes and behaviour of people from around the globe. It is a process by which members of
the world community are empowered to work together towards a common goal which leads to
the improvement in the quality of conducting business and life or for the society. These leaders
are the individual who strongly influence the process of global leadership (Boukamcha, 2019).
This report is based on British Airways. The following report is based on the impact of Covid 19
on the international airlines during lock down. Further it will describe the leadership style that
will assist the airways in designing the strategy to recreate a profitability and sustainability of
the company or how culture play in the leadership of the international airlines.

Leadership Styles are method of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people.
It classifies how person behave while leading a group. In 1939, a group of researchers identify
different styles of leadership and each leadership styles has its place in leaders checklist. A
visionary abilities of leaders are agility, judgement, innovation, interpersonal tact, and domain
knowledge.
TRANSFORMATIONAL:
Transformation leadership style is identified as the single most effective style. Transformational
leaders are able to motivate and inspire members. These leaders tend to be emotionally
intelligent, energetic and passionate. British Airways follows this transformational leadership
style as it assist it to bring continuous changes in its operations so that customers are attracted.
The leaders of British Airways are not only devoted to helping the organisation to achieve the
goals, but also to helping group members fulfil their ability. The transformation leadership led to
improved well being among members. This leadership assist in achieving a goals of the industry
by understanding the points which can build the long term sustainability and profitability for the
British airways. The company gets affected by the covid effects during lock down they have to
face the issues like loss of huge amount customer's due to covid. This theory will assist in
covering the loss of the British Airways.(Hosseini and Khosravilaghab 2017).
