performance of the company as well as their staff. Changes can have advantages or negative

importance of the change and the behaviour organization towards it. In case of the company
British Airways management can take an edge over there competitors in the marketplace it will
also help the workers to enhance their skills with the assistance of these changes in order to
accomplish the long term goals and objectives which will lead to the success of the Company. In
addition to this once I have noticed change management which was implemented by the British
Airways as in the year 1981 management appointed John king as their new chairperson because
it was earlier notice that the organization was highly inefficient and the several worthy resources
were not utilised as per the capabilities (Wang, and et.al., 2022). In order to assist the company
in becoming more successful he decided to restructure the Overall business management And
only way of doing this was with the help of change management plan. For that chairperson
almost reduced 20,000 job positions in which includes majority of the board members. Also
replaced Colder aeroplanes with the new high tech jets. Management also terminated ro ots
which were not much profitable.
I feel that in today’s dynamic economy as well as competition a leader need to be more flexible
with a every style of leadership add also should adopt the suitable method of leadership
according to the different conditions. In order to execute changes in the company like British
Airways for the large scale then it is essential for me to opt such leadership method which can be
the suitable for the attainment of the companies goals and objectives as well as also meeting the
expectations of my subordinates and seniors. In which I basically prefer democratic leadership
method which is one of the best for the organization since because of this I ask for opinions of
the workers as it is also essential for the decisions of the company. It will enhance the motivation
of the workers as well as mine also assist in the innovation and decision making of the company.
