Critical Analysis of British Airways Talent Management Practices

This project provides a critical analysis of talent management practices employed by British Airways to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on its human resources. The research examines the importance of talent management, the impact of COVID-19 on talent management activities, and the different talent management practices that benefited British Airways during the pandemic. The project includes a literature review, methodology, research analysis, data collection (secondary and qualitative), research philosophy, ethical considerations, and a Gantt chart. It explores the challenges faced by British Airways, such as hiring, retaining, and allocating work, and how the company adapted by allowing employees to work from home and utilizing digital technology. The project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these practices and determine the issues faced by British Airways due to improper talent management in the pandemic situation. Secondary sources and qualitative data were used to complete the research.
