INTRODUCTION
British Heart foundation is one of the charity organization of UK that deals with funding
related with heart diseases and its risks. It was founded in 1961 by medical professionals who are
concerned about the rising death rate due heart and cardio vascular diseases. This organization
focus on funds related with the determination of cause, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of
heart diseases. This organization is one of the major funder of research and education related
with cardio and its associated diseases. However, in order to achieve its aim it relied on
voluntary donations. This organization works on the principle of killing the world's biggest killer
that includes heart and its diseases. Since heart and circulatory diseases is one of the main reason
of death of people so it works again this. This organization is very beneficial for the society
because this it lies its focus on reducing death that is being occurred from one of the common
diseases related with heart. Since, this organization work for the better health of the society so it
contributes a major role in keeping the society healthy and stay away from cardio vascular
diseases. By reducing the chances of death or by raising the recovery of life with the best
prevention and treatment focussed, this organization benefits the society in terms of giving a new
life to suffered people.
MAIN BODY
Relationship with stakeholder and their engagement
BHF shares a direct relationship with the stakeholders. As it is one of the organization
that works in the direction of social welfare so it is also involves a share of social media in its
workplace. Being a charitable organization it has many stakeholders including employees, grant
makers, local community, beneficiaries and many more. Through the incorporation of social
media in its workplace it tries to make transparency among the working practice and its
stakeholder. Being a performer of social work it is closely connected with its stakeholder.
Through the use of various campaign, social media practices in the form of awareness
advertisement it makes its connection with the local community and the society (Nisar,

network plays an important role in meeting the aim of the organization in terms of raising and
creating awareness among people regarding cardiovascular issues and its treatment. Being
funded by voluntary donation it also shares good relation with the grant makers so that it can get

aim. Being a charitable organization it also shares a good relation with employees who are

are those group of people who are being benefited form the work of charity. Thus, BHF also
share a direct relation with them. Right from funding till availing the best information regarding

Thus, with the indulgence of social platform or social media through the mode of operating

making the society free of these diseases. With the pace of time its working and mode of

Nationwide bank and many more. As the focus of the organization is towards the cardiovascular
research so initially it provides funds for research to scientist around UK. But now with the
passage of time it raises its scope and now it is funding large number of research project that are
focussing towards this concept.
In order to perform the work efficiently and effectively a range of skills, knowledge and
strategies are required by employees. Being a charitable organization it is essential that the
employees posses certain set of skills, knowledge and strategies while working with the
organization. These skills may includes:

dealing in determining the cause and method of prevention related to heart diseases among
population, the role of social media is significant. This is because it supports its main aim and
objective in terms of spreading knowledge regarding its purpose among the population so that
the death rate concerning with cardiovascular issues will be reduced.

Training and development is highly required in order to equip the employees so that they

for the BHF that it has to explore and more active over social and digital media along with
focussing over launching camps and public events. As with the world of digitalization it is
necessary that the BHF also have to divert more focus towards the digitalization so that it can
connect with more people and able to explore its mission. Although it has an incorporation of
celebrity support towards its mission but it is still recommended that a more inclusion of
celebrity involvement in its working will helps it to achieve its objective.
