ABSTRACT
In the following report, the major objective of the investigator in to analyse the
effectiveness of the British framework and MMA. In addition to this various policies, practices
amd code of conduct which used by the airline organisation in order to protect its soldier has
been alos addressed in this report. Furthermore, comparison between the maintenance structures
of the Air Wing Armed Forces of Malta and UK Royal Air. In addition to this the British versus
malteses military airworthiness has been also addressed in this assignment. In this present
dissertation, researcher has been used the secondary data collection method for collect the
information about this topic about the airworthiness. With assistance of the secondary data
collection method, investigator can able to collect the data from the articles, journal, books etc.
In the entire dissertation , scholar has focused on the secondary data through which reliable and
valid conclusion has been made. Some of the ethical consideration aspect has also followed by
the investigator for obtain the valid and accurate solution of the research problem.

INTRODUCTION
In the present era, the airline industry is continuously developed due to its high customer
demand. Due to changing technology and advancement, this industry deliver an effective and
high quality of airline services to customers. Airworthiness is the measure of an aircraft's
suitability of safe flight. It is a kind of certificate which approved by the national aviation
authority and maintained by performing the desired maintenance action. The application of
airworthiness refers to the atmosphere and condition of an aircraft. It also defines the suitability
for flight of aircraft which designed with engineer. In a simple word it can be said that
airworthiness is positive condition of the aircraft by which customer can able to get high quality
and effective air service (Hermanto and Muhammad, 2017). In a simple word it can be said that
airworthiness is a legal and mechanical status of an aircraft in terms of its readiness and
suitability for the flight. The organisation which deals in the airline's industry have main aim is
to deliver the safe and high quality of airline services to its customers. While company deal in
the airline sector then it is great responsibility of them to keep secure and safe its customers. It is
another responsibility of the airline company to deliver an excellent quality of airline services
through which customers can get an impressive satisfaction in the field of aircraft. An
airworthiness is a kind of certificate which grants and authorised by the government to operate
an aircraft in flight (Stanton and Harvey, 2017). The following report provides a deep knowledge
and understanding about the British framework and Maltese Military Airworthiness framework.
It is an independent corporation which is responsible for regulating air safety across defence. The
major aim of this organisation is to deliver (Smith, 2015).
In the 2 September 2006 a in the Afghanistan, there are huge crash of Royal air force
Hawker Siddeley Nimrod through which many of the people have got the serious injury and
many of them got died. Due to this crash, there are several people have dies by this British

Background of the study
The airline industry is a service industry but due to all the equipment and facilities
involved in transportation. In the present time, many of the soldier prefer to purchase the
transportation services in the airline sector. By this crash, there various kinds of the loss occurred
in the Afghanistan. As per the research it has been founded that the aircraft is believed to have
suffered a fuel leak during mid-air refuelling while it was controlled a NATO offensive. (Evans
and HARPER, 2016). The major objective of this dissertation is to find out the comparison
between the British military airworthiness and Maltese military airworthiness framework. In the
2 September 2006 in the Afghanistan there are huge crash of the airplane by which many people
got the serious injury and some of them died by this British military. In the present dissertation,
scholar has selected this mentioned case study about to the NIMROD crash of September 2006
(Kleymann and Seristö, 2017) Thus, scholar wanted to find out the historical data pertaining to
the aircraft accidents in the Malteses island. Moreover, investigator has also defined the military
aviation authority (MAA) which is an independent organisation in the airline industry which
developed and designed in the country in order to protect the soldier who taking the airline

In the present time, the demand of the airline industry is continuously increase because
soldier are more demanded in this sector. This industry assist to the people in travelling them
from one place to another place. The airline industry is a service industry which facilitate to the
soldier about the transportation (Behbahani-Pour and Radice, 2016). It is an easy to lose sight of
that fact. Airline perform service of their soldiers by transporting them and their belongings. In
this industry, there are several types of airline which have different type of the services and they
deliver different aircraft. As per the research it has been founded that major airlines earning
revenue is about 1 million in the UK. United Kingdom government has been developed various
kinds of policies, framework and practices for the airline company in order to protect the soldier
from the unethical issue and illegal activities (O'Callahan and Partush, 2016). The major reason
for selecting this topic about the airworthiness is that scholar have great interest and curiosity
about to identify the detail information about this topic. In addition to this, scholar have
sufficient information and data about the topic of the airworthiness. One major reason for
selecting this topic is to analyse the effectiveness of the British framework and Maltese Military
airworthiness framework. In addition to this, another important aim of this investigation is to
compare the gap in the Air Wing's Policies and British regulatory framework (Jones and Partush,
2017). In this dissertation, researcher have another aim is to find any historical data pertaining to
aircraft accidents in the Maltese Island. In order to select this topic for the dissertation, scholar

Significance of the study
As there various issues arisen in the airline industry due to the inappropriate

the airline company to follow all policies, practices, system and framework which developed by
the government in order to keep secure and safe soldier with respect of airline services. With
assistance of this study, researcher can able to understand that how airline company can
overcome the accident and uncertain hazards and risk (Behbahani-Pour and Radice, 2016). In
addition to this, effectiveness of the British framework can also obtain with help of this study. In
addition to this, with assistance of this study, comparison between the British military and
Maltese military airworthiness framework can studied by the researcher. With help of this
present study about the airworthiness, researcher can able to get detail understanding about the
effective policies and practices of the airline industry. This study help to the researcher in getting

NIMROD crash of September 2006
In the opinion of Kier, (2017) Royal air force hawker snidely Nimrod got accident in the
2 September 2006.Due to this crash many of the people got a serious injuries and it is one of the
biggest loss of life by the British military. At the 2 September 2006, there has been huge crash
occurred in the royal air force hawker in the Kandahar Afghanistan. Through this crash, fourteen
crew members on the board has been killed. This crash was the biggest single loss of life due to
the British Military since the Falklands. AS per the research it has been founded that aircraft has
assumed that the major reason for this crash is fuel leak during mid-air refuelling which was
monitored a NATO in the Taliban insurgent of Kandahar. It has been also founded by the
investigation that the fuel was leaked into the bomb bay at where fir has been occurred. It is due
to the electronic fault or hot air leaking from the heating pipe. In the view of Saxi, (2017) While
this crashed has been occurred in the Afghanistan then the pilot has reported a fire in his bomb.
Pilot tried to reach Kandahar air base and taking the aircraft down from the 23000 to 3000 feet in
90 seconds. The crash which occurred at the site which was about to 25 miles west North West
of Kandahar airfield. Due to this crash there are various people get serious injury and accidents
