Introduction
In this report, Bromley Healthcare Interest Company is considered that is a local
organization in London. This organization has introduced a new and innovative
campaign for proving solutions to the people who are currently suffering from obesity.
This organization has no target group for its conduction. Further, in this report, all the
factors that affect and influence the status of health in patients are discussed along with
the beliefs on illness and wellbeing of people. Also, the relationship among the
theoretical models in health education is included in this report along with the initiative
of a local initiative of health education.

Comparison between health education and health promotion: -
Strategies used for Health education
Health education is used for the purpose of implementation of the promotion of health
and programs for the prevention of diseases. With the proper education provided for
health experiences for learning all the aspects of health become very easy. In this
health education, various strategies are generated and implemented to make it possible
for covering all the population of London with the help of a campaign introduced by the
local healthcare organization named Bromley Healthcare Interest Company. This
organization had started a campaign for the purpose of curing the widely spreading
obesity among the population of London, especially in teenagers. There are various
strategies that were introduced by this organization to overcome obesity like: -
Workshops: - With the help of specified workshops for facing obesity, the campaign
introduced by the Bromley Healthcare Interest Company helps in fighting this disease
very effectively. This is done by introducing a number of physical activities to burn some
fat etc. Also, workshops help in monitoring all the activities of obesity patients for
helping them individually in a very effective manner. Furthermore, the timing of
workshops is arranged in a very specific manner to harvest the best efficiency among
the patients of obesity (Higgs, et. al., 2019).

Seminars: - The campaign introduced by Bromley Healthcare also includes various
seminars for keeping people to be aware of obesity while covering it with all of its
disadvantages. These seminars are conducted under the supervision of all the expert
doctors for motivating the patients to follow a certain diet and regular exercise plan in
their daily routine. Also, the campaign covers a variety of schools and colleges among
London to spread awareness more and more.
Classes: - This is very important for especially for the teenagers that don’t even look at
their increasing obesity. These classes are conducted at the schools and colleges after
organizing a seminar, this helps in providing a more detailed overview of the campaign
initiated by the Bromley Healthcare organization. In the classes, all the doctors conduct
a special activity of learning through which all the teenagers can understand how
harmful can obesity be for their lives in the future.
Lectures: - Lectures are a very informative way of the conversation by which important
and specific information can be conveyed over a large number of people. The campaign

purpose of motivating all the patients in a very optimistic manner. The lectures cover all

fit all the time and for this, identification, interventions along with development are

P5 Describe how different theoretical models are reflected in different local health
education campaigns.
There are various models used by the Bromley Healthcare Interest Company from
which they are getting a huge advantage in solving all the issues related to obesity
among the population of London. As discussed above, this organization is implementing
their newly initiated campaign in a very systematic and organized manner due to which
they are currently more effective than the other local and national campaigns in
competition. Also, this organization ensures the prevention and cure of obesity among
the population of London if everyone starts following their campaigns and for this
purpose, various theories and modes are used which are as follows: -
Planned behaviour: - This theory is adopted by Bromley Healthcare in their campaign
for the purpose of avoiding obesity among the people in an area. This theory works in
three phases for getting the best approach in curing obesity among the people. The first
phase in this theory is to decide the area where this campaign wants to initiate their
obesity cure. After obtaining the data in numbers in an area, the second phase deals
with the calculation of the number of people who are related to each other. In the last
phase, the diet plan according to the weight of people is decided and advised by the
doctors to the patients. Also, the diet plan is allotted to the patients according to their

capacity and motivation of recovering from obesity. This behaviour is very important for
in terms of acquiring the best results for the patients suffering from obesity (Yao, et. al.,
2018).
The health belief model: - This model is also introduced by the Bromley Healthcare
organization in its campaign. With this model that is basically theoretical, it becomes
easy to monitor and assist the patients suffering from obesity. This model generally
used for the purpose of doing predictions for the patient at which rate obesity can be
recovered. For understanding the health behaviour of patients, this model of health

Ecological models: - This model is very important for any campaign as it covers a very

determines various levels of effects of the behaviour of health which are as follows: -
 Interpersonal factors: - in this, the behaviour of the patient is monitored while
he/she communicates with the other people, this factor in the ecological model
helps in improving the support to the patient socially for the purpose of promoting
the healthy behaviour.
 Community factors: - All the information about norms that lies in the community
of patient either informal or formal is collected to present a better diet for the
patient that can match his genes and can help in recovering from obesity in as
soon as possible (de Jong and Benton., 2019).

 Organizational factors: - All the factors that promote the behaviour in a healthy
manner including policies, regulations, and rules are covered in this portion of the
Ecological model.
 Public Policy factors: - This includes the federal, local and state policies along
with all the laws to be followed by the organization for providing their services
without facing any issues.
 Individual factors: - All the factors that include the behaviour of individuals
suffering from obesity are gathered to encounter obesity among the individual in
an effective manner (Wiig and Macrae., 2018).
Theory of Social Cognitive: - This theory is considered by Bromley Healthcare so that
they can have a totally different approach in proving the cure for the patients suffering
from obesity. Also, it was observed that this theory was not in any of the local or
national campaigns currently running in London. This is the reason why the campaign
initiated by Bromley Healthcare is very efficient in providing solutions to all the persons
