This is the theory of child development, given by the American
development psychologist Bronfenbrenner. According to this theory
there is the complex layer of the environment which posing higher
effects on child development. Such as the there family background,
community environment and various other factors of social landscape.

Importance- In context to the Amy that is important theory
because this can helps the Dave to understand daughter and make
effective approach to improve her behavior with best values and ethics.
Microsystem- This system is involving the personal level of the
environment factors such as school, peers, family and neighbors.

Mesosystem is involving the interaction of children's among different
element of their microsystem such as school, home. Exosystem is
another important system of children's development environment, which
is involving the elements of environment which is not directly connected
to the children's but influence their development.

Benefits:
 In context to the Amy this theory is beneficial because with the help of this her father,
teacher and care taker, will affectively understand her stage of development and
environmental management needs according to that. By the help of which Amy mental
health and behaviour will improve.
 In context to teenager mental health condition of giving case study this model is
beneficial which can help to cover all the important factors of development
environment which influences the mental health and behaviour of Amy.

 This model is beneficial in terms of understanding the development
environment and issues faced by the Amy and further more
environmental support needs.
 Psychologist can effectively evaluated the causative of patient
current abnormal behaviour and provide best care.

Limitation:
 There not any surety of health and behavioural improvement, that is difficult to
empirically test the theory.
 This is difficult the understand system and effect's direct relationship. Model can be
use to make proper understanding and management of children’s development
environment but this cannot be sufficient to completely improve their mental health
and abnormal behaviour.
 This can prevent new abnormality development but this cannot help in the complete
management of children’s mental health illness and bad behaviour.

 In context to the Amy this can be difficult to test theory,
independently this can not offer best solution and this is not easy to
implement this model in care practices in context to changing her
life. Because that is difficult to change behaviour and habits
suddenly.

From the above study it has been concluded that ecosystem theory is
very important in terms of children's development as it helps to make
the proper understanding of environment factors and stages which can
effect their growth and development.
