planning if Brook, a voluntary sector organisation
provides sexual health services.

Voluntary sector providing free and confidential sexual health services
get influenced by number of factors. Factors such as political scenario
and culture, legal aspects prevailing in the country, economic structure,
environmental impacts and technological advancements of the country
affects significantly the functioning of organization.
Political factor: Government and other legislative bodies in a country is
entitled to control and control the operations. It keeps on check on
organizations working in all the sectors. Strategies formulated by
management of Brook and the tools adopted by it to implement is
affected considerably by the rules and regulations prepared by
Government. It has imposed certain laws with respect to the organizations
providing sexual health services such as about maintaining confidentiality
and providing precise treatments.

Economic factors: Economic scenario prevailing in a
country impacts largely on the working of Brook.
Factors such as disposable income of persons,
exchange rate, inflation rate and other related affects

This increases awareness among to them develop and seek knowledge about sexual

resources and other related.
Threat of substitute products: With the advancement of
technology it increases threat of substitute products so Brook
need to imbibe better technology in its process.

Position of organization in market
To make changes in business plan and formulate new strategies for

BCG Matrix

rate due to weak strategies and inefficient business plan.

Weakness: Brook organization need to use medical
