Strategic planning adopted by organisations is the
systematic and planned way to manage the resources
to expand its venture and earn more profitability.
Presentation is prepared to discuss the strategic
planning if Brook, a voluntary sector organisation
provides sexual health services.

Importance of external factors affecting an organization
Voluntary sector providing free and confidential sexual health services get
influenced by number of factors. Factors such as political scenario and
culture, legal aspects prevailing in the country, economic structure,
environmental impacts and technological advancements of the country
affects significantly the functioning of organization.

Political factor
• Government and other legislative bodies in a
country is entitled to control the operations. It
keeps on check on organizations working in all
the sectors

• Economic scenario prevailing in a country
impacts largely on the working of Brook. Factors
