Ethics is one of the most critical factors for the entire business organisation to maintain
its position correctly. This particular research project mainly focused on different ethical
behaviours of the employees in a popular retail company of Australia, named Pay n Carry. It is
essential for the senior managers to create a suitable corporate cultures such as clan culture,
adhocracy culture and hierarchy culture etc. to improve overall organisational performance and
provide the entire employee's job satisfaction. For that reason, the management of Pay n Carry
needs to implement various strategies such as servant leadership, integrity strategy with strong

Introduction
All the business organisations need to manage its overall workforce and administration to
maintain day to day operations in an effective manner. The human resource managers play the
vital role in managing the workforce and culture of an organization (Gauri, 2013). The managers
also need to focus on key management issues of the organisations that generally help to
recognise the upcoming threats leads to affect organisational brand image (Gregg et al., 2011).
This particular study generally indicates all the management issues of Pay n carry, and that also
helps managers to implement different innovative solutions to mitigate all the management
problems successfully. At the same time, implementation of strategic ideas will improve the
overall organizational performance leads to improve brand image as well as organizational
financial profitability.
Discussion
Identification of organizational Problems
According to the case study, it has been identified that Pay n Carry is one of the popular
retail stores in Australia. This organization has more than 60 stores in the Queensland and 30
stores in different places of the country. It has been identified that the growth of this organization
is very slow in the last five years and that can hampers the overall organizational operation
(Ilonen, Wren, Gabrielsson & Salimäki, 2011). This organization is a small and medium-sized
organization, and the number of employees in the head office is 45. This company also has
different experienced employees and all the employees delivered high quality services to the
customers so that number of loyal customer of this company was also high.
On the other hand, the exploitation of workers in the retail industry also affects the
overall operation of Pay n Carry. So the senior management needs to implement different
strategies to make changes for sustainable and long-term growth of this company (Landmark, &
Sjøbakk, 2017). The unethical employment practice of the franchise business partner of this
company also creates a negative impact on the organization leads to an increase in employee
turnover.

The senior management of all the business organizations implements various theories and
models in the workplace to improve the overall organisational performance (Lo, 2015). Proper
leadership is essential for this organisation and leaders generally motivate the employees to
maintain the proper corporate culture that improves the phycology of all the employees. At the
same time implementation of dynamic skillset will make the organization more productive in
their use of various technologies.

ethical culture in the workplace. The human resource managers need to train the employees to
improve their practical skills, and that will enhance the overall organisational performance. The
human resource managers of all the organisations hire resource persons to conduct skill
development program. At the same time, recruiting of external in the organisation is similar to a
marketing option. For that reason adapting various marketing principles in hiring process
generally helps management to get experienced and talented employees. Use of different
dynamic skillset will enhance client satisfaction, service quality, information sharing, and
teamwork that benefit the organisation in delivering cost-effective services.

with the employees to motivate them and it also changes the psychology and behaviour of
workers leads to maintain an efficient environment in the store. Maintain various important
customer service rules such as proper maintenance of the store, deal with complaints effectively,
and take extra steps for helping customers etc. will improve the organizational image lead to pay
big dividends.

Implementation of integrity strategy is vital for all the business entities, and it also
needed to maintain an ethical corporate culture in the workplace. The entire organisation has
their governance so that to maintain the management effectively; proper understanding is vital

every employee to improve the overall performance of the organisation. According to the trust
model, benevolence, integrity and ability are the major independent variable for trust. Good
relation between the employees also provides them confidence and ability to face the challenge
proficiently. Apart from that to maintain integrity in diversity the management needs to
implement different core values in the organisation such as trust, the confidence of the
employees, predictability, behaviour etc. At first, the senior management of Pay n Carry will
conduct different educational program and that will helps the organization in the successful
implementation of this strategy (Sonenshein, 2009). During the implementation of Integrity
strategy, the organisation needs to maintain proper standards such as organisational values,
regulations, social obligations etc. For that reason, the management needs to make appropriate
communication with the lawyers to identify the potential problems to minimise the chances of
risk in the future.
On the other hand, there are also have some factors such as Propensity, trustee etc. and
that also can enhance performance and ethics of the employees. The emotion of individual
employees are different for that reason it can effects the trust leads to hampers the overall

concept is very old. Different changes are needed in Pay n Carry effective management and
operations. Servant leadership is one of the suitable options for this organisation to create
integrity among diversity in the workplaces (Moore et al., 2012). The servant leadership model
provides each and individual team members with a higher plane of motivation lead to fulfil the
corporate objectives. In recent days the majority of the organization are conducting Corporate
Social Responsibilities program to improve their brand image, and the senior management
encourages and involves all the staff in this program (Amira, 2013). Another primary function of
a servant leader is to develop personality of other employee’s leads to improve organizational
working excellence. It is essential to involve all the potential employees in the decision-making
process, and the servant leaders also evaluate the opinion of each and individual employees
before the decision-making process. These characters satisfy the employees psychologically and
create emotional bonding leads to active cooperation during work.

From the above study, it has been identified that this retail organisation also faced
different issues that are related to management and unethical practice of employment. Various
organisational problems such as lack of resources, lack of consensus, Lack of Team Cohesion
etc. to ensure high-quality services as well as grab the attention of many customers’ leads to
trigger sales volume (Davenport, 2015).
Proper communication between senior management and other franchises is vital to gather
information with a view to operations of each and individual franchise. At the same time, the
HR managers need to gather feedback from each and individual customers, and that will increase
the overall service and products quality further.

company in Australia but the senior management of this company also faced different problems
of unethical behaviour of the employees during operation and that generally hampers the overall
organisational culture as well as the workforce. For that reason, it is crucial for management to
make changes in Pay n carry or implement different innovative strategies such as involving the
employees in decision making process, implementation of effective communication and conduct
corporate social responsibilities programs to trigger the organisational culture. Various models
and procedures such as dynamic skillset, compliance strategy, Integrity strategy and
implementation of servant leadership styles can improve the current organizational position.
