The two examples of emerging technologies include Robotics and artificial intelligence. These
technologies can play a vital role in carrying out a more effective flow of information and
making decisions (Walsham, 2015).
2. Explain statistical analysis and other quantitative methods commonly used in decision

Correlation calculations- It can be termed as the statistics tool which is used to identify
the strengths between different variables.
Long-term trend analyses- It is defined as the process used to identify movement within

Regulation analyses It is a process which is directed towards carrying out
methodological assessment and evaluations of different proposal linked with regulations.
3. Key features of management information systems and decision support systems.
One of the main features of MIS is that it follows a systematic approach and provides step by
step guide to carrying out the desired flow of information. The concept is also management
oriented and this is another feature of MIS (Soomro et al. 2016).

A risk management plan can be used to determine different types of potential risk present and

After carrying out the review of the case and website of Bounce Fitness, it has been evaluated
that the CEO of Bounce Fitness is now looking forward to registering the center of the fitness
club with fitness Australia. However, the registration is not an easy process and several issues
will be faced during the same (Peltier, 2016).

The primary objective was to gather adequate and reliable information about the selected concept
(Fountas et al, 2015). The second objective was to develop in-depth knowledge about the needs

In terms of emerging trends, it can be stated that the demand for qualified and experienced
trainers have increased to a great extent. The demand is increasing because such trainers are able

It has been identified that more than 50% of individuals can be converted into gym members by
having adequate experience, qualification and offering useful instructions to the individuals.

recommendations to the CEO. The reason behind this is that data from valid sources have been
collected with regards to areas such as the need of trainer qualification and strategies to deal with
employee’s resistance to change (Schwalbe, 2015). Adequate research over different books,
journals and online sources has been conducted to make sure that the desired and required level
of information is present. It is recommended that at the time of using Management information
system the CEO must ensure the fact that MIS is management oriented and it has been well
integrated within the system.
2. What risk management plans have you put into place to determine acceptable courses of
action?
In terms of the risk management plan, it can be stated that alternative strategies and plans have
been developed to mitigate the negative impact of the implemented strategy. Adequate
identification and assessment of the risk have also been carried out in the risk management plan.
3. What quantitative methods did you use to assist your decision making?
Cost analysis, capital budgeting, linear programming and cost-benefit analysis are the major
quantitative methods which have been used in the process of decision making (Wager et al.
2017). These methods were very useful because they have supported in developing in-depth
knowledge about the topic and have further assisted a lot in the entire process of decision-
making.
4. With whom would you consult when making decisions about information to use?
The management will be the most important point of contact which will be used to carry out

It can be expressed that separate section should be developed within the website of Bounce
Fitness to provide information or data with regards to areas such as different locations, format
and timelines. The rationale behind this is that such sections will make it is easy and convenient
for the decision makers to access the information and make appropriate decisions.
A team of people will be developed with an objective to carry out updates in the management
information system within Bounce Fitness. Furthermore, the updates will be carried out in the
period of every week (Laudon & Laudon, 2015). Regular review of the website will be
conducted with an objective to identify the issues and loopholes within the same.
Here, the design will be directed towards carrying out separate sections for each piece of
information related to Bounce Fitness. The database management system is the tool which will
be taken into consideration to manage and update the data on the website of Bounce Fitness.
The rationale behind using this system is that it will provide the users and decision makers with
an opportunity to develop a systematic program which will further assist in processes such as
creation, retrieving, updating and management of the entire data. The selected for the update will
be 7 days and it is the responsibility of the new team to make sure that the information has been
updated.
To ensure the fact that information is updated, regular review of Bounce Fitness website will be
conducted. The updated data will be cross-checked twice with an objective of identifying its
authenticity and reliability (Noe et al. 2017). The management of Bounce Fitness will also make
