Assessment 4:
1. Reflection on leadership skills in assessment tasks 1-3:
a. Duties I performed well:
I performed well in providing training the agents on WHS and ethics and getting approval
for additional budget allocation from the CEO.
b. Areas where I need improvement:
I need improvement in updating and maintaining risk register.
c. Engagement of stakeholders:
I successfully engaged stakeholders like the apex management, the CEO, the CFO, the
managers, the subordinate employees and the agents in the training process. However I was not
efficient in obtaining participation from customers in following WHS.
d. Display of ethical conduct:
I displayed ethical conduct while ensuring participation of subordinate employees, the
managers and the CEO. I maintained ethics while training the agents on ethics and WHS.
e. Appropriateness of my leadership with the tasks:
I can reflect and point out that my using of participative leadership style to train the
agents was appropriate. This is due to two reasons, first it encouraged them to participate in the
training and second to accept the ethical chartered more willingly. Moreover, I being the
operations manager could not use my authority ethically on them since they were not employees
of the company.

3. Three professional development activities in my professional development plan:
The three professional development activities to develop my customer understanding are
training in communication, networking and professional development through interviewing
customers. I would also seek reports about my professional development from the additional
communication training from my superior managers, fellow managers, trainers and assessors. As
far as networking skills are concerned, I would take reports and feedback from peers from the
real estate industry.
4. Details of written reflection:
a. Answers to reflection questions-Already provided above.
b. Continuation of development of skills and knowledge:
I would continue developing my skills and knowledge through professional development
even after my training course comes to an end. I would continue my professional development
by strengthening my networking with the customers by the virtue of my newly acquired
knowledge about customer preferences. This would help me satisfy the customers who approach
Max Lionel Realty to buy properties. This would help me over-achieve my business targets and
obtain higher appraisals. This is how I would continue my professional development even after
my training comes to an end.
