TASK 1
1. Communication with stakeholders about the organisational mission and goals, objectives,
plans and strategies
For all the business entities such as Sim's Hardware it is very important to communicate
organisational strategies, mission, vision and plans with stakeholders because with the help of it
their interest in business could be increased. If I will be the CEO of the company then I will
make sure that all these element gets communicated with them. For this purpose, detailed
information of financial information will be provided to them with the help of annual report
and final accounts (Ogbari and et.al., 2016). It will be beneficial for them to analyse
organisation's long term mission, objectives and goals. I will also make sure that timely press
conferences should be conducted so that external stakeholders such as investors, creditors,
customers and suppliers get aware of all these elements.
2. The way in which linkage between organisational objectives, values, standards and
responsibilities of teams and individuals could be established
According to me it is very important to establish link between organisational objectives,
values, standards and responsibilities of teams and individuals. As a CEO it will be my main
liability to synchronise all of them. For this purpose, I will make sure that the objectives which
are going to be formed for future are formulated by keeping values and standards in mind. In
order to link them with responsibilities of teams and individuals I will create different groups
and all of them will be responsible to accomplish various tasks which are necessary to be
completed to reach the long term goals. While performing this activity I will also allocate
liabilities to each and every individual and guide them to follow organisation's values and
standards. It will helps to establish link between all of them.
3. Is it significant or not to address the expectations of stakeholders in the organisation
I think that stakeholders play vital role in the development and growth of an
organisation because they help to run a business in systematic manner by providing credit,
making investment, buying products etc. There are various stakeholders such as employees,
customers, investors, creditors, suppliers etc. who have different expectations like acquiring

higher returns, getting good quality products, receiving credit on due date etc. In order to
execute the business successfully it is very important for Sim's Hardware to address all of them.
It will help to develop their interest in business and motivate them to be the part of enterprise
for a long period in future. If the entities such as Sim's Hardware are not able to address the
expectations of meet their level then it can create a negative image of company in their mind
which may leave adverse impacts upon business in long run. Therefore, it is significant to
address expectations of stakeholders for an organisation so that it can perform all its
operational activities appropriately (Sandada, 2014).
4. Investigation and communication strategy in case of major incidents
It is a main responsibility of a CEO to perform effectively in major incidents so that
business could be executed systematically. For example, if the organisation is facing continuous
losses then it will be the main priority of me as a CEO to investigate the situation appropriately
and communicate with all the internal members regarding it. For this purpose, I will analyse the
financial statements myself and try to figure out the cause of the condition. The process of
investigation will be conducted by me to identify the reason which is resulting in higher losses
for the organisation. For detailed information of it I will be required to communicate with
accounting professional and managers of the company so that they can guide me to find the
main cause of it. For proper communication I will organise formal meeting in which all the
members in top management and account department will be called (Eși, 2014). I will interact
with all of them and try to figure the reason. Afterwards, I will make sure that effective
strategies are formulated to overcome the situation so that organisation can achieve all its
predetermined objectives.
5. The way in which teams could be built and supported within the organisation
According to me for all the companies it is very important to formulate effective teams
to reach a specific goal. For the attainment of the same top level executives such as CEO are
required to build different groups and allocate them tasks accordingly so that all the members
in teams can perform properly. As a CEO in Sim's hardware I will also be responsible to build
groups and support them so that long term objectives could be achieved. Different steps which
will be followed by me are as follows:
2
Document Page
ď‚· First of all, a long term vision will be formed by me so that teams could be formed
accordingly (Bititci, Cocca and Ates, 2016).
ď‚· Afterwards I will analyse skills and abilities of all the staff members so that
responsibilities could be allocated to them.
ď‚· At last I will build teams by segregating employees according to their capabilities and
providing them specific tasks which are required to be accomplished by them
successfully.
ď‚· I am also required to support the teams which are formulated by them as it will help to
motivate all the group members to perform effectively. For this purpose, I will arrange
timely meetings with all of them so that they can share their issues with me. It will be
the best way to support them morally.
6. Development and demonstration of understanding of ever changing environment
Currently the business environment is changing due to globalisation and technological
advancement. The understanding of it could be demonstrated by comparing old and new era.
In earlier years all the work was done by human beings but now a days different plant and
machinery are being introduced in the market which are doing work of humans. In prior years
businesses were operated on single place but globalisation is facilitating organisations to
execute operations across the boundaries. If I will be the CEO of Sim's Hardware then I will try
to expand the business in different countries so that growth could be acquired (Anitha, 2016). I
will also increase import for organisation if material from any other nation could be bought on
lower cost. With the help of it I will be able to take advantages for the business and promote it
at global level. In order to capture larger market share and attract more and more customers I
will introduce new machineries for hardware which are sold by enterprise. It will be beneficial
for the company to enhance its performance due to technological enhancement.
7. The way in which teams could be supported through organisational change
Organisation's strategy, techniques, policies and procedures get changed after a certain
period of time which is known as organisational change. With the help of it the complexities
which are faced by staff members while performing their jobs could be resolved as it promotes
the use of new techniques and tools. As a CEO I can support work teams through organisational

change because it will be beneficial for them work without problems. For example, if currently
autocratic leadership is followed in the company and employees are not satisfied with it then in
future it could be replaced by democratic. It will help the team members to discuss their
opinion with their leaders. Decisions in this situation could be taken collaboratively because all
the members in groups take part in process of forming judgement in future. It is the best way to
support work teams by replacing old procedures with new ones because it can help to enhance
motivation level of staff members. When they will be highly motivated then they will work with
higher engagement and involvement in their work (Aldea and et.al., 2015).

other external parties so that they can gather detailed information regarding
performance of organisation. It will help to enhance transparency of data that helps to

consider media and language while talking with group of people because they are going to

Leadership is the quality of individuals which guides them to lead a group of people so

of leadership are described below:
ď‚· Democratic: This style of leadership is also known as participative because the managers
allow staff members to take part in decision making process. They ask for their opinion
for the strategies which are formed by them and make proper modifications if required.
ď‚· Autocratic: Authoritative leaders follow this mode of leadership in which all the
subordinates are required to work according to the guidance of top management. All
the tasks which are performed under this type of supervision are completed on time
because employees have to work effectively as they are directed to do.
Both the above described leadership styles support mission, objectives and values of the
organisation as leaders who are following any of the form of supervision will try to work
effectively so that all the long term goals could be accomplished. Strategies which are formed
by leaders are created on the basis of these elements which helps to support them.

In all the organisations it is very important for leaders to make sure that they are
working under legal regulations. They have to follow code of conduct properly as it will be
beneficial to execute all the operational activities according to legislations. All the leaders in the
companies are directed to ignore discrimination on different bases such as language,
nationality, colour, gender etc. If they discriminate between the staff members then strict
actions could be taken against them. Legislation leaves huge impact upon leadership across the

organisation because all the supervisors are required to make sure that they perform all the
activities under rules and regulations (Calvo-Mora and et.al., 2015).
14. Explain organisational objectives, plans and strategies?
Each and every organisation formulate objectives which are related to its long term
plans and strategies. All the operational activities which are performed by businesses have
some specific objectives such as profit maximisation, customer satisfaction and in order to
reach all of them strategies and plans are formed appropriately so that the objectives could be
achieved successfully. If companies are not able to formulate them then it will be very difficult
to reach long term business goals.
15. Explain organisational change process?
The process in which an organisation make changes to its existing processes and
procedures is known as organisational change process. Main purpose of it is to make
appropriate modifications within the practices which are followed by business entities to run
operations. In order to conduct this process it is very important for managers and other top
level executives to identify the areas where improvement is required. Afterwards they are
required to make strategies for future so that modification in organisational procedures could
be made. When plans are formulated then managers try to implement them so that required
changes at workplace could be made (Ellis and Miller, 2014).
Main elements which are required to be analysed by the managers and leaders
effectively are following the process step by step as it will help implement the change
successfully. If the procedure is not followed properly then it will affect the whole organisation
in adverse manner because improvements will not be made in systematic manner.
