 Advisory model: This model is very conventional and it is seen in the today's world.

decisions (Dohe and Pike, 2018). The associates of an advisory board do not have
much power in the process of decision-making. All the decisions are impacted by the
CEO as it provides and offers relevant advice in relation to the bad decisions
previously taken
 Cooperative Mode: It is related to the democracy which is very essential in making
decisions. The cooperative board involves the members making sensible decisions by
giving equal contribution in the decision making process.
 Management team model: It is considered one of the most popular model which best
suites the small and medium sized organisations. The administration of the board
takes help from the management structures of the corporates. John Ltd will be able to
divide its business units in various departments like Event Planning, Fundraising,
Marketing and HR.
 Policy Board Model: This model was developed by John Carver in the year 1990.
This model focuses on giving total control of power and authority to the CEO of the
organisation. This allows the management of the business to gain full control over the
operations and working of the company (Eldridge, 2018).

Project management cycle
The Project management cycle is a framework which plans the activities which will
provide assistance to the project executives in completing the projects successfully. The steps
of project management help in planning and organising the project without much difficulties
(Jain and Jain, 2021). The stages are discussed below:
 Initiating: It is the first and foremost phase which defines the project at a broad level
in relation to what is to be done and achieved for making the project successful. It
involves identification of various stakeholder’s objectives and deliverables which are
essential aspect of the project. John Ltd is a retail book organisation and is trying to
make upgradations by establishing cafe for attracting large number of consumers

organisation and control. It is an extremely linear and process based project
management method which makes it a very useful technique. This method helps in
enhancing the quality of the finished products, maintains the compliances and boost
the morale of the whole team. It also provides various benefits such as executives of
John Ltd can learn from the earlier mistakes while enhancing their skills and
knowledge.

It is very essential for the companies to formulate proper paperwork and
documentations in today's world. It helps in recording the tasks on a regular basis which
results in maintaining transparency and achievement of objectives of the project.

 Quality Planning- Main role of quality planning for designing the process which able

John Readings firm must do quality testing in every step of business
procedure. The employees often start with the raw materials testing, getting

service or product meets the specified needs. It maintains and establishes the set
requirements for the development and production of reliable goods. ISO is the dricing
force which maps the process used for implementation of QA.
John Readings enterprise is using different QA methods-
I. Failure testing- In this the firm constantly tests the product for
determining its failure or break.
II. Statistical process control- It is the methodology based on the
analysis and data. It uses statistical methods for managing and
controlling the products production.
 Continuous Improvements and polices- Continuous improvement refers to the
ongoing products and service enhancement by breakthrough and incremental
improvements. All this is done by following steps-
 Plan- It involves the identification of purpose or goal, developing the theory, defining
the metrics of success and putting the plan in action.
 Do- Plan components are implemented by John Readings firm for building of café.
