use of include Maslow’s hierarchy theory, Herzberg’s hygiene theory and McGregor’s theory X
and theory Y. Therese theories are mainly applied to project management as the use of these
behavioural theory enables a project manager to motivate the people associated with the
project team towards a common goal of ensuring project success.
The Maslow’s hierarchy indicates that people do not work only for money or security. Once an
individual is able to fulfil the basis needs of money and security, the individual tends to seek
actualization of their potential.
The Herzberg’s hygiene theory states that, one of the most significant factors that contribute
