INTRODUCTION
In the recent time, manager are required to maintain Health and safety atmosphere so that
employee put maximum efforts in order to attain the estimated targets (Cornelissen, 2017). In
this project, different role and responsibilities, health and safety issues and ways to document a
risk are discussed. In addition, emergency plan procedure, implementation of initial response and
monitoring of emergency response is discussed.
Overview of organisation
ABC is a medium size chemical distributors which was established in 2000 that deliver
205 L drum and other liquid solvents such as acids, detergents and corrosives. There are 50
employee that are responsible for different operation such as decanting chemicals and these staff
member are not fully trained to deal with any sort of emergency. In company there is a yard
which surrounded by cyclone fence so that all waste can be collected and given to waste
collector.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Companies should have a clear understanding of what might be all regarding Environmental
Safety and health. The explanation why this principle is known contributes to effective
implementation of EHS. This includes the creation of a structured and coordinated approach to
compliance with environmental legislation, managing massive waste and/or drastically reducing
carbon footprint of company. Company must ensure that organisation's health and safety plan is
successful and all staff, suppliers and seasonal workers are informed of their respective
individual responsibilities. Cooperate with individual assigned as Safety Manager over entire
range of specific roles and responsibilities including reviews, audits, reporting suggestions,
legislative changes and guidance received from other resources. Company must ensure that
appropriate health and safety learning system is set up and also that security culture of staff is
promoted.
