360-degree feedback is a process which enables to evaluate a person completely with the help of

person properly with consideration of their behavior, the attitude of work, performance and
qualification with skills. It is also known as the self-evaluation process where a single individual
provides views about oneself. The two major sources of 360-degree feedback include:
Multi-rate feedback
Multi-source feedback
b) Provide examples of times when you have both given and received feedback.
The feedback which was provided by me refers with leadership skill to my team leader. I have
used verbal communication technique with an informal process. This has helped him to
understand the feedback properly as we discuss his skills and aspects of work. Proper eye contact
and facial expression have notices which proclaim that he is interested to get feedback and work
on them. On the other hand, one of my colleagues has provided feedback to me and I have put
my efforts to understand their aspects as well. I have asked them about my behavior, my nature
of work. I feel very great about it as it enables me to improvise many of my areas which further
assist to ascertain effective outcome.
c) Explain some issues you might encounter when giving negative feedback or being on the
receiving end of negative feedback. How can this be done in a way that ensures the receiver
will respond in a non-defensive manner and take on board the feedback?
On some points, my team leader did not respond properly. This includes aggression on some
points and cuts out my sentence in a mid. Thus, I have to change the topic and put some sarcasm
on such points which assist to change the response of team leader.
