Introduction
The basic purpose of working to have meaningful daily life activity. People work to
satisfy themselves and their families basic essentials needs like food, clothes and shelter etc,
after fulfilling theses needs their wants become important to fulfill. They work for money
and to become independent it give them control over their own life and learn new things.
Work provide an intellectual challenge and benefit of work experience which help in
upgrading the skills and continuously learning (Buck and et. al., 2020).They want work to
contributes to their society in which they exist and it give chance to meet new peoples and
chance to foster new relationship. It gave a sense of pride and self-satisfaction to support
yourself.
What does Motivation Mean?
It is used to define why a person does something and a reason for doing something. it
is the process of encouraging people to actions to attain the goals and the wants or needs that
direct behavior towards a goal. There are many types of motivation which serve as a guiding
force for the human behavior, they help in improving the efficiency of peoples and feel more
in control of their lives by improve overall well being and happiness.
Maslow's Hierarchy theory-This is a very popular framework in sociology research
it is a motivational theory, containing five models of human needs. Maslow's theory is about
human motivation based on the pursuit of different levels of needs which are given below: Physiological needs- These are the lowest level needs include food, water, shelter etc.
because a human can not function optimally without satisfied these needs. Safety needs- In this a person's need to feel safety and security in their life to protect
them from dangerous and unpredictable conditions. They want to control their lives
according them. Love and belongings needs- It refers to the human emotions and their need for
friendship, relationship and family. They have the need to give and receive love to fee
that they also belong in a group (Knihs and García-Holgado, 2020, April). Esteem needs- In this, peoples want to satisfy their esteem needs include esteem for
oneself and the desire for reputation or respect from others. Self- actualization needs- In this there is realization of full potential of an individual,
people want to beachcomber famous in their field as they can possible be.

Extrinsic motivation- In this a person does something not for enjoyment, It perform a task
because of some outside causes and for a separable outcome like rewards and avoiding
punishment.
Intrinsic motivation- It is an inner drive that encourage an individual to pursue something
without any external rewards, but because the action itself is enjoyable like, playing for fun
and reading for pleasure etc.
The various factors which motivate employees to work
Salary: It is the most essential factor to motivate employees in the organization and it
motivate worker to work hard. Salary system is a significant part in modern enterprise
system. It is identified that average improvement to performance was greatest when money
was motivating. A good pay can increase he worker's performance and it has the power to
influence extrinsic motivation. It can motivate to the extent that employees perceive it as
satisfying their personal goal.
Promotion: Through promotion an employee of an organization given a higher share of
duties, responsibilities and pay- scale. it is the most effective way to motivate e the
employees because it provide an opportunity to employees for increased their compensations.
It build the worker's loyalty towards the organization and they get motivate for work hard. It
boosts the morale of promoted employees and increase their productivity. By promotion
employees feel that they are compensated and may feel more motivated to continue their
efforts (Lau, Chan and Ng, 2021).
Work Environment: A healthy working environment is very significant factor for the
employees. it motivate them for sincerely working which improve their productivity and
reduce sick leave and accidents on workplace. A good working condition develop and
maintain the healthy lifestyle practice. The workplace environment need to be taken into
consideration by the organization because the quality of employee's workplace environment
impact the level of their motivation and performance better workplace environment motivate
workers and produce better results.

The positive factors employees experience as a result of

Employee experience is a perception that the employees have about their experience in
response to their interaction with the organization. when an employee feels a positive
experience at workplace, they demonstrate a great sense of belonging like feeling part of a
team or group. There are some positive factors given below:
Modern performance management- It is an on-going process to increase
employee's productivity and happiness. It encouraging systematic one-on-ones and
tracking activities to inspire the workers. It ensure the transparency in communication
and provide honest and regular feedback. Now the organization start the process of
performance management to make it cost-effective and more efficient.
Growth opportunity and skill development- Employees wants to new role and new
task for the growth curve in the vicinity(Mumford and et. al., 2020).The management
drive some training sessions to keep everyone updated on the field in which
employees are specialized. These opportunities build trust and strong connections
within the organization. The skill development program identifies the gaps and
develop the employee's skills to enable them for accomplish their goals.
Meaningfulness- In this employees must feel that their work is meaningful and they
are contributing to the ultimate objective. This understanding can be achieved by open
conversation and transparent management system. It is important that all employees
move in the same direction and this create a positive experience for the employees.
The negative factors employees experience as a result of
their job roles
Conflict at workplace - This conflict arise between the workers and management,
there are many types of conflict in the organization like labor and management,
employees and employer etc. it arise because of different personality, unmet needs
in the workplace and unclassified role at workplace etc. It is identified that the
supervisor spent around 25% or their time resolving workplace conflicts. this is a
negative experience for the workers working there (Mann, Denis and Percy, 2020).

Bias in the workplace- Discrimination are made between different qualities and
other social categories like gender or disabilities. It affect the employee's behavior
and reduce their contribution in the organization. It has a big impact om decision
making at work when its time to recruitment, performance management and
promotion etc. and employees get a negative experience at the workplace.
Excessive workload- it is a major stress and create anxiety and effect the
performance of an employee. The burden of work decrees their motivation and it
impact their performance due to which it reduce their productivity. They work under
pressure and dealing with tight deadlines, this heavy workload affect their health
and behavior. This burden lead to restlessness and irritability, thus it is negative
employees experience
Strategies to cope with negative factors employees
experience as a result of their job roles
opportunity to express opinion- The organization should develop a survey to know
about the employee's opinion, because sometimes they believe that efforts are not
considered or inputs are not valid. The company should adopt some policies and
procedure at workplace in which they get to know that what the employees think and
how they feel about their team member and management (Mishra and Ghosh, 2020).
Ask their suggestion like what process can be fixed to improve the policies and
decision making. Provide them opportunity to express their opinion and reviews etc.
work with leadership- The management should use leadership skill and a strategic
framework including vision, mission and goals within the organization. If they
understand the direction and take part in desired outcome then they can contribute
more and make better decisions. The leadership permeate all levels of an organization
to assure the smooth functioning of the teams. It promotes unity and organic operation
in the organization. Every organization must have leadership in order to produce a
successful product and for accomplishment of the organizational goals.

Conclusion
From the above report it is concluded that work is essential for survival, people work to
fulfill their needs and satisfy their wants. Maslow's hierarchy theory state that peoples
motivate by their desire and essentials for doing work. They work to earn money and for
upgrading their skills and talents for getting respect in the society. There are some other
factors (promotion and salary) which encourage them for work. At work place they get some
positive and negative both type of experience due to work environment and conflicts.
Organization take some steps to eliminate the bad experience by adopted some beneficial
strategy like engagement of employees and provide them opportunity to express their reviews
and thoughts.
