Introduction
Academic skills are the important aspects which involves the habits and the methods
of communication that is being used by the person in order to manage the life and have their
general adherence. In order to have the effective management of personal goals, It has been
sen that time management, research and cooperation are the aspects which is being used so
that they can have the proper plan for the growth and the development. In order to manage
the academic skills, personal development plan creates the main role as it gives the skills that
are needed for the individual for their future growth. This report will analyses the personal
development plan with the effective analysis of short, medium and long term goal. Moreover,
It will discuss the values of personal development plan.
Definition of the concept of personal and professional
development
It is the individual growth and methods which helps in developing the skills in
individual's behavior. This is majorly an innate through which growth in human can be
rightly managed and this is defined as the qualities that are being generated in the individual
own personality which helps them for accessing the self-actualization. As per the needs and
wants of them in life(Maaranen and Stenberg, 2020.) It is the aspects which helps in building
the security an fulfillment of the individual needs with regards to the personal development.
It is the method by which confidence is being built and person can gain their individuality
through self analysis. They also focuses on the methods and the nature which can be idealized
and also helps in the personality development.
Personal development includes the considerations and the behavior that is being use
the person in order to fulfill their needs and wants so that their future growth can be settled.
This includes certain ways in which person can idealize the elements that leads to have the
career growth. When the individual is having regular training and courses, this is leading to
implementation of their learning in their behavior by which they can achieve their set targets.
Professional development plan helps in accessing the ways by which an individual can reach
to the higher level of growth and proper management of the person for accessing the future
career. It reflects the tactics and the skills that are necessary for the future growth of the
individual in professional development. This also helps in proper engagement in the actions
and the reflection for attaining the growth. With this, company can attain the future targets
and goals as it established the standards and the quality of life which leads to have the more
opportunities and development.

includes the individual's desires in order to manage their work properly. It takes less than 12
months to attain the short term goal as the main focuses of this goal is to achieve the long
term goals. It is the stage in which an individual can make or implement the tasks and the
strategies which is leads to effective attainment of the future long term goals. It builds the
confidence in the individual behavior, encouraging the productivity by which they can be
satisfied their future action of course. There are some methods in which short term goals can
be enhanced as follows:
Motivation: It is the aspects which influence the individual for the better attainment
of goals and move with the inner strength of the individual. It is the aspects which
helps the employees to get focus on their goals by which they can be attained
appropriately by having confident in them.
Overcoming all procrastination: Short term goals makes people more focused in
their working and the specific task can be attained within the set time frame. This also
motivate the individual and help them to be more focused over their prioritize tasks.
Clarity in Directions: When the individual is having proper direction that how they
have to assigning their duties and responsibilities so that they can attain their per-
defined goal. This basically save time in completing the task is being delegates to the
concern person and they are aware about the accountability of them. This also helps in
eliminating unnecessary task due to which an in they can only focuses on the task
which are more important to them.
Time management: It is the activity through which all the targets and the goals is
being attained as it provides the person in effective management in eliminating the
other further activities so that necessary task can be completed within the set span of

medium term goals. Many individual tries to cope-up with the given task so that they can
have the job security and the having balance in their job role. It includes certain skills which
can leads t attains the company's goal and there are some aspects which helps in attaining the
medium goals are as follows:
Balance between the short term and long term goal: Medium term goal provides
the connectivity to the various goals and this can be seen by implementing and
working for the aspirants and their future growth. It is seen that short term goals give
the base of the long term goal and medium term frame the pathways and certain
strategies in order to attain the long term goal of the business. There are some aspects
such as teaching and lessons that can be adopted by leaners so that they can create a
effectiveness in order to achieve the desired goal.
Promote motivation for long term plan: It is the aspects which build the confidence
and the morale of the person by which they can achieve their goals and target in
proper time. This can lead to motivate the individual in order to create the balance as
well as motivating them for the job security in their work having major concern for
the business. It is the aspects which is related to managing and generating process for
the future work and nature. When the individual is working towards achieving their
set targets then they can rightly manage the growth by framing strategies(Lee and
Moon, 2020).
Give the vision for long term goal: It gives the complete idea and the direction in
order to attain the aims and objectives for the future programs. It gives the main
consideration to the business so that they can have the long term goal within the
organization.

can be gained at peak and makes the person to have satisfaction through creating the long
time span. This also helps in managing promotion and advancement with the help of new
ideas. There some other aspects which helps in the individual to work properly and hopes for
all such task like new job and promotion. Values given by the long-term goals are given
below:
Professional development: When an individual is trying to manage the work and it
can be seen that all such cases they are trying to adapt in medium and short term goals
by which they can identify the work in order to manage the work assign to them. As it
is seen that long term goals build the professionalism in the working and also uplift
the general ideas.
Improvement in personality: when the individual is working continuously for
achieving the per-defined goal then develop the personality of the person and they
focuses on completing their work and their personality prospective which can
improvise the individual's behavior.
Financial stability: Long term goal can make the financial balance in their work as it
gives the appropriate strategies by which stability is being managed within the
workplace. This can be seen that all the areas and the nature is being creates a
individual's bank balance by they can have the financial security in their given job
role. This also considers to have the effective security of their monetary value(Crane
and Malloy 2021).
Shaping career: It is the main aspects through which career can be balanced and their
