Balanced Score Card
Balance Score Card is a strategic management
performance metric used to identify and improve
various internal business functions and their
resulting external outcomes. Signal Radio is a
radio station company which entertains people by
providing its services.
The report will analyse how Balance Score Card
played an important role in the internal structure of
Signal Radio. It will also help in evaluating the
employees' performance in the Signal Radio and
the customers' satisfaction process. The main three
key elements which will be elaborated are — The
internal business process perspective of Signal
Radio, The learning and growth perspective and
finally The Customers perspective.
Balance Score Card is defined as the strategic planning and
management system. Organization use Balance Score Card (BSC)
to communicate what they wish to accomplish, to prioritize
services, products and projects, to monitor and measure progress
towards targets and strategies set, day to day work to align with
strategy.
1. The internal business process perspective of Signal Radio
The internal business process perspective of Signal Radio
concerns -
Process improvements which includes streamlining of internal
approval process of the operations which takes place in the
organization. The internal business also concerns about the
perspective of how the business is to managed and what are the
growth factors that will drive the performance of the business.
The internal process ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of
the business that Signal Radio delivers its services to the
customers.
Information Capital — All the databases of Signal Radio are
important for the company to protect its records and information
that has been accessed in station. Along with this, information
capital of Signal Radio consists of networks and technology
infrastructure such as data protection systems, safety systems etc.
Organizational Capital — Signal Radio follows an organization
culture with proper leadership style. Also, organization focuses on
the employee alignment and knowledge management of
employees which includes employee net promoter score,
corporate culture audits and staff engagement.
Therefore, BSC helps organization in acknowledging about

2. The Learning and growth perspective
This perspective in Balance Score Card system considers the
intangible drivers of performance. This perspective helps in
learning and growth of the business. The learning and growth
perspective is covered on a broad spectrum which is broken down
in three different categories mentioned as -
Human Capital — Talent, skills and knowledge of employee is
observed in the human capital factor. This further explains the
performance management scores, training effectiveness on
employees of Signal Radio and employees of organization are
assessed on the based of their skills.
Quality optimization such as manufacturing and reducing waste.
This gives a redirection towards the resources which are bing
wasted in Signal Radio. This is very essential for the station to
evaluate the quality of the services which are being made

This perspective focuses on performance objectives

market. Organization's success is measured by this
perspective which includes the objectives to fulfil -
Customer service and satisfaction is the main key
objective which needs to be fulfilled by Signal Radio
as which is done by increasing net promoter score.
Market share of Signal Radio is also analysed which
focuses on growing shares in market of particular
country or segment.
Brand Awareness is also the main component which
initiates on increasing interactions on social media and
platforms such as Instagram, Facebook etc.
Therefore, Balance Score Card helps in analysing the
various aspects which are included in the pattern of
organization's growth that drives the business forward.
The effectiveness and efficiency of the employees and
the organization is overall measured on such factors
which play an important role in the success and
development of the organization or the company on
