Introduction
ABC healthcare Corporation has been one of the best health care companies of Australia.
The company established a few years back has obtained considerable success in the Australian
market just because its ability to innovate and develop the products and the services that they
offer to the customers. The change in times and the evolution of the different organizations have
led the management of the different companies to keep their doors open for a long time in order
to successfully undergo organizational change sooner or later. Therefore the management of the
business organizations must always keep their door open to different type of changes in order to
stay updated with the market. The following report has provided a detailed description of the
change management techniques that will be adapted by the management of ABC healthcare
business enterprise and ensure its market success accordingly.
Project Background
Change has been occurring at a rapid pace in the healthcare industry. This can be seen
with the merger of the hospitals, formation of the large medical groups, integration of the
networks and the formation of the integrated delivery networks that have been acquiring the
hospitals and physicians. As a result of these the leaders have been involved in the due diligence
process and different kinds of transitional processes that caters to the formation of the different
kinds of corporate structures and employee benefits. The main case that has been identified in the
following report is the problem of negligence and malpractice along with problems in patient
relationships. The change management strategies had to be adapted by the business organization
in order to ensure the success and sustainability of the management in the Australian market.

Measurable Objectives
The objectives of the following report are as follows;
a. To identify the different issues faced by ABC Healthcare Corporation
b. To identify the process of mitigating the issues
c. To prepare a proper change management plan including a financial report
Current Situation
The operations management of the organization has provided a negative report to the
higher management of the organization as it has been seen that a portion of the employees in
ABC Corporation has been involved in malpractices. This kind of malpractices has led to the
decline in patient relationships as the patients are gradually getting the feeling of corruption
within the organization. Such a negative attitude leads to the decline of reputation of the business
organization. The following situation has been considered as a grave situation and the
management of the company needs to immediately look into the situation in order to get hold of
the wrong-doers and re-establish the reputation of the Company.
Problem Statement
The malpractice and the negligence of a portion of employees is really a serious offence
in the service industry. The gravity of the situation increases with the fact that the organization
has been providing healthcare services to the people. Healthcare is a primary requirement for the
people and thus it is important for the company to ensure the success of the business by means of

creating honesty and integrity. The main task of the report is to identify and highlight the major
problem areas and ascertain the different requirements to ensure business success.
Opportunity Statement
The management of “ABC Corporation” has implemented a smart plan to counter the
following problems in order to mitigate the management issues and ensure the re-establishment
of the business organization. The management of the healthcare organization has formed a group
of selected experts who have been forwarded with the task of identification of the violators
within the business organization and provide the necessary recommendations to ensure success.
The appointment has been totally an external appointment made by the higher level management
of the business organization. The external appointment has been carried out to ensure the
absence of biased nature among the employees of the Company.
Critical Assumptions
Some of the major critical assumptions regarding the following organization are as
follows;
The different investigation will be carried out by means of external people who will be
appointed by the higher management of the business organization
The budget actual must not vary more than 5% from the estimates
The employees must undertake ethical training classes organized by the management
Penalty or harsh punishments in case of negligence and malpractice

Being a hospital there must be shift hours for the employees., The first shift will start
from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM while the second shift starts from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM and
the last shift will start from that of 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Constraints
The majority of the malpractice occurs in the last two shift hours when the checking and
scrutiny in the hospital is partially relaxed. The employees select this particular time to do the
malpractices. The negligence done by the employees are also recorded the most in this particular
time. The management of the business organizations thus needs to ensure the absence of such
problems by increasing the scrutiny.
Analysis of the Options and Recommendations
Some of the major recommendations or options to ensure the success of the business
organization are as follows;
a. The management of the business organization must ensure to increase the scrutiny of the
business organization especially during the second and third shifts.
b. The management of the organization must ensure to install cctv cameras and audio
recording devices to capture any kind of indescrapancies involving the employees of the
business organization
c. The management of the business organization must also ensure the presence of special
observers within the company to keep a tab on the activities of the people

d. A relationship manager must be employed by the management to close the
communication gap of the employees with the customers of the hospital
e. The Human Resource Management of the company must keep a detailed update on the
needs and wants of the customers and accordingly ensure its availability to gain customer
satisfaction

Some of the preliminary requirements of the project to be undertaken are as follows;
a. Recruitment of the best experts from the company to ensure the success of the business
b. Recruitment must ensure the appointment of the most neutral experts to avoid biasness
c. A proper and effective HRM management

Potential Risks
A risk analysis has been included for the following project as because the organization
needs to make sure on whether any kind of risks will be involved in the application of the
following change management principles. The application of the following change management
principles will include the likes of;
a. Abstains- The application of the harsh rules will lead to fear among the employees which
will again lead to the rise in the resignation rates among the employees
