Dear Legislator,
I am ***** I have been enrolled for Bachelor of science in Nursing (Bsn RN) and I am writing
to ask for your assistance (bill for BSn RN) with “Bsn Rn in 10”. This legislation allows our
state to comply with the new national standards for nursing defined in the RN Consensus
Framework Regulation. The legislation will help to prevent the shortage of nurses in upcoming
years . According to National nursing workforce in next 10 to 15 year 50% of the working nurses
will be retired. This bill can ensure the quality of health services and the proper workforce
maintenance. AACN or American Association of Colleges of Nursing predicts that if the bill will
be implemented not only the patients will be in advantage but also the hospitals. They says that
hospitals can earn 80% of more workforce by 2020 which will be profitable for the growth of a
hospital. This will insure that (state / jurisdiction) people receives secure and quality care
provided by Bsn RNs. Such requirements will also improve nursing flexibility and allow for
greater exposure to overall health resources. This will ensure that (state / jurisdiction) people

initiatives are directed at the politicians and organizations whose decision can impact patients
and their providers in shaping the new U.S. healthcare climate. We seek to insure that the
nursing voice is heard at every point where these decisions are taken.
Bsn RNs are CNPs, licensed nurse-midwives, CNMs, accredited CNNs and medically trained
nurses (CNS). Bsn RNs provide certified nurse-specific practitioners (CNPs). Bsn RNs are an
integral part of the health system and a very important component of the healthcare system

Passage of the bill (Bsn in 10) provides the adoption of the following points:
 Ensure public safety by allowing registered nurses with specialized training to be accredited
as Bsn RNs (Hughes, 2008). However, this is not currently necessary in our jurisdiction. This
is a provision in the Consensus Model for the APRN Law in relation to its Registered Nurse
(RN).
 Ensure that all Bsn RNs follow the advanced education criteria of an approved degree
program. The bill requires that all Bsn RN education programs, which are approved by the
United States Association of Colleges of Nursing Accreditation, attend a nursing certification
review panel. Permit Bsn RNs to practice on their own. This is proven 4 –year of Bsn
Nursing transform a person to a complete professional. Several researches have shown that
Bsn RNs deliver healthy and high-quality care without doctor's supervision.
 Enhance public understanding of who is taking care of them. Currently, the Bsn RNs are
forwarded to various jurisdictions (Cipriano, 2011).
 Ensure that all Bsn RNs meet the advanced education criteria for an approved graduate
program. The bill requires the application of the Nursing Authorization Board and the

initiatives (Ncsbn.org, 2019).
