INTRODUCTION
Sustainable business management can be defined as the corporate sustainability which is
a management and administration of environmental and social along with the financial aspects of
the business in order to ensure the responsible and ethical process of coordinating such concerns
in an organizations (Nosratabadi, Mosavi, Shamshirband and Chau, 2019). Organization chosen
here is the Adnams Southwold, which is one of the Brewery Adnams established in 1890 and
headquartered in United Kingdom. They deals with the products and services such as cask ale
and pasteurised bottled beers and also the production of gin, vodka and whisky. The following
discussion is made on the increment of the resilience of their business to local climate change
impacts and addressing present and future, risks and opportunities for Bedfordshire businesses.
Moreover, how sustainability poses at least two areas of threats and opportunities to the case
study business and reporting on at least four practical issues and solutions for the business case
provided.

Climate resilience of the business can be achieved through three independent outcomes
such as:
Resilient people and livelihoods is one of the independent outcome through which climate
resilience of the business can be achieved which means that the individuals and society has the
power to recover quickly from any disaster regarding any Adnams issue. So local climate change
in the organization can have a least impact on such society who are resilient in nature. Resilient
Businesses and Economies is an another independent outcome through which climate resilience
of the business can be achieved which means that the competitors of the business should have the
resilient nature so that any disaster occurs, easy recovery can be possible from the end of other
businesses and economy related to the associated business. Resilient Environmental Systems is
also one of the independent outcome through which climate resilience of the business can be
achieved which means that the environment which is affecting the business must have the fast
recovery feature so that any disaster cannot hamper the business working environment and
culture as well (Bilan, Pimonenko and Starchenko, 2020).
Steps to build climate resilience of the business such as :

Awareness-raising and advocacy is the first stage to build climate resilience of the business
which states that it is important for the organization to increase the awareness of the sustainable
nature of the business so that so that stakeholders of the firm can easily be resilient towards the
local climate change of the Adnams. Climate risk assessments is the second stage to build
climate resilience of the business which states that it is essential for the business to conduct the
proper assessments related to the climate risk for better increment of the resilience of the
organization. Implement appropriate actions is the third stage to build climate resilience of the
business which states that after analysing the assessments of climate risk, it is necessary to take
the corrective actions for the same in order to mitigate it safely. Mobilize resources is the fourth
stage to build climate resilience of the business which states that it is significant for the
organization to introduce the mobile and flexible resources regarding climate sustainability for
better reach of the solutions. Monitor and track progress is the fifth stage to build climate
resilience of the business which states that it is crucial to track the progression so that the
monitoring can be done appropriately in a successful manner for better increment of the
resilience of their business to local climate change impacts. Share knowledge is the sixth stage to
build climate resilience of the business which states that it is imperative for the firm to create
awareness for the same among all their internal ad external stakeholders of the Adnams in order
